Exactly what I came to say. Not getting a top flight WR at 62. My wild card is a a CB falling to 30. I’d love to see us draft Legette, but I’m convinced someone will reach. One scenario I like is a trade back to early 2nd, getting OL or CB, and using the extra picks to move up for WR.

Sounds right. Pearsall, Franklin, or Coleman should be there at 62?? I want the Ravens to be aggressive and move up since they have 19 picks the next two drafts..

@@bcamm3100 True. The benefit though from having so many picks is that with our track record in the draft, we can get a number of key contributors on this roster especially with how tight our cap space will be going forward.

I think we should trade our first and fourth for both washington’s second picks. Take Blake fisher Xavier Legette another OL or best CB all in the second round

We have a chance. His unfortunate circumstances and low snap count make him one of the biggest candidates to fall massively.

Man if we get Sutton for next years 5th rd pick, plus draft o-line first round and Laggette, Franklin or Coleman,second round that would be ideal.

We literally led the league in sacks and pressures. For the last time we DONT need a star DE...we have Madubuike, Elite DT > than elite DE any day of the week. It's the same formula of Rams and the chiefs. With Aaron Donald you never needed a star pash rusher to get the job done. What we need is an Elite WR1 who can play the X. Its been 6 years for Lamar playing without one....enough is enough.

@@DorkJelly U got to realize Clowney had the most pressures. Madubuike next. Clowney is gone. Oweh and Ojabo are still inexperienced and hurt a lot. If Madubuike gets hurt we're in trouble. No other interior d-linemen gives a lot of pressures. A lot of the sacks came from blitzing. We need the front four to get after the QBs without blitzing. We need to keep seven in coverage to slow these good QBs down. Madubuike and Van Noy are the only ones to get after the QBs without blitzing. Oweh was coming around but got hurt. We have no pass rushing depth on the line.

Outside of 2019 the defense hasn't been a problem in the playoffs. The problem has been the offense struggling with protection and enough playmakers to put up points.

@@blackula88exactly. We need to shore up the o-line and get a wr for Lamar. With 19 picks in the next 2 years drafts, I say give up some picks and get extra first, second, and third round picks in this year’s draft.

If they do BPA then tell me why Queen and Oweh were drafted in the first round. Or why a punter was the first pick in the fourth. BPA isn't real there's always a reason team draft a guy and it's not just oh we didn't think he'd make it to us.

@@blackula88 we drafted that punter in the 4th because he actually was best available with his college resume. Stout was really good at Penn state and they’ll probably keep stout for a long time, sk not a bad pick in hindsight. And yes, u are right w Oweh and Queen. That’s why I said “unless there’s a glaring hole”. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think we only had 1 edge on the roster before drafting Oweh, and with queen we were linked to him all month up until that draft, we needed a LB desperately. There are some years you could knit pick the draft selections with that, but most the time we go with best player available. EDC even says it himself.

@@EarlPhillipss That's my point. They're not going BPA they're going by need. Either bc they know they're not resigning a vet or lack of depth. And Oweh and Queen weren't even the best available at their positions. Neither was Stout, but I understand why they didn't take Araiza. But that punter pick could've been better depth somewhere else. All these GMs say stuff like BPA but it's rarely the case.

@@blackula88 not sure what your on about exactly. We don’t have a glaring need anywhere. Mekari is a fine tackle for just a year, mixing in with faelale. Our guards have been in the castle working hard. The line in general is a question mark, but there’s not necessarily a glaring hole. Oweh had the highest upside of any edge left at that pick. Ravens are known to take Edge rushers and develop them. He had an amazing combine. Patrick Queen was a top 2 linebacker in his class, I never said either of these guys were BPA. Reading is fundamental. I said “unless there is a glaring need, they always go BPA”. In the years we needed an edge, and a linebacker, we took them. We don’t NEED anything. Any day one starter we grab through this draft would be an extreme luxury for this year. But we’re most likely looking at high upside developmental guys.

@@blackula88 Araiza had a r*pe charge, and he only played punter. Stout played both kicker and punter at a high level for Penn State, and had a lot of experience as an older rookie. That was certainly the appropriate pick. He’s been solid and will probably be here for a long time.

Hell no, Cooper will never make it as an outside corner. He has safety convert written all over him.
