What Happened to Julian Newman?
This video is presented with educational purposes to detail the rise of Julian Newman from a childhood of being a basketball prodigy to his unfortunate downfall as an adult. Since Julian garnered the attention of millions around the world at such a young age, he has left many wondering, "What exactly happened to Julian Newman?" After doing my research and reading numerous articles, I've broken it down to three major reasons as to why his stardom peaked before adulthood. Even though he graduated high school without any college scholarship offers or professional basketball offers, I wish him nothing but the best. He is still young and if he dedicates himself to understanding the game of basketball, I believe Julian can still play at the next level of basketball. After all, as I mentioned in the video, he is a very skilled player who just lacks some key elements of basketball. If Julian learned how to master the parts of his game that aren't the strongest, Julian has a strong case for being able to play college ball or professional basketball somewhere. Thank you for watching, enjoy!

@Soulxlight
@Soulxlight 3 роки тому
It's a very, very important thing D1 coaches look for, but if he had a high basketball IQ he'd definitely still get interest. You don't need height to draw attention and set up teammates. Elite PGs learn how to break down defenses and set up their teammates, pass out of traps they draw and basically move the ball around. The attitude problems and lack of team play coupled with the low BB IQ means the lack of height does become an achilles heel but it isn't the main cause.

@madbroxxx 3 роки тому
@@indian-id6rx That's not entirely true, he can make a D1/D2 team with bad IQ basketball albeit having the physical attributes and some talent. @madbroxxx
@madbroxxx 3 роки тому
Ya'll dont realize that although you need more than height and athleticism to make it as pro basketball player or even a high level college player, height is the ultimate exclusionary factor that no one can get around.
