I don't think I could be more proud of Jaclyn and her personal growth. I've been a subscriber for years and can't stand how hard people are on her. Even with what happened with the lipsticks, people were horrible to her over $20. I feel like she's too hard on herself as well...I just want to give her a big hug. @Mike. Hunt. No one EVER deserves to be bullied, especially at the level she was. No one deserves to get death threats, have their family slandered, and their entire name discredited. This launch was extremely important to her and she would never send out those products KNOWING they had fuzzies/quality issues. Her lip sticks were tested by fans in the medical background and none of the lipsticks contained bacterial or harmful contamination. There was just a quality control issue where miscellaneous fibers/beads were getting into the lipsticks. No one who wants a successful makeup brand would have knowingly sent out products like that. To say that she deserved all that hate and mistreatment says a lot about you as a person and little about her and her willingness to fix the mistake.

I love you talk about “this was the best I ever looked everything was on point, hair, brows, body, but I was so unhappy” it’s so important to put yourself first and sometimes people feel like if they look better they’ll feel better but a bad thing is a bad thing and taking care of the bigger picture first is so much more important. So happy you’re in a place to reflect and just recognize your real growth. What a role model.

Yes definitely. I used to be one of those people who felt like this. If I lose x amount of weight or do this to my appearance, THEN I'll be happy. But the happiness never comes when you're trying to OUTsource in this way. Because happiness comes from the INSIDE out and it took me such a long time to figure this out. Also, being kinder to myself. Being nicer to myself. Telling myself GOOD things about myself. Instead of always insulting or telling myself I'm inadequate and less than. It's definitely a process but so worth it.

Exactly, there were flaws in quality control, but the shades were so beautiful, and her coming back with them would be such a badass move, like “i own my mistakes and I own all of you trying to drag me down”

I never really hopped on the hating Jaclyn train though there was a period where I didn’t connect as much with her content and understood people’s issues with her (though not the nonstop nastiness) for sure. It just felt like yes she made some mistakes but she was never intentionally horrible by any means and was clearly just human and going through it. But recently I’ve just really loved her content again! She seems like she’s in such a good place and I love watching her content.

Jaclyn, you’ll never know how much your divorce helped me. This was so surprising to me and shocking and then boom it happened to me. I was 23, together 7 years, but only married 6 months and he had an affair and started becoming mentally abusive. I tried to stay for 4 months until I couldn’t anymore. It’s only been 2 years since the beginning of the end started and I can’t believe where I am now. I’m so happy, I’m in a relationship of a year and he is so wonderful, I was so codependent and couldn’t imagine life alone. You are so right about looking hot during divorce. I got complimented so much on how thin I looked, but it was because I could barely eat I was so upset… cheers to us

Mental and emotional abuse is almost worse than getting beat one which i used to deal with getting hit now its all emotional and mental abuse.. Because bruises and scratches etc heal and go away the emotional pain doesnt and its nothing people can see. Im in a really bad abusive relationship ive been in 5 years now and im stuck but ive been rust holing money stashing it as a squirrel would nuts so i can get out of here clean and safe with my dogs. The abuse didn't start for almost 2 years and he's a very bad drunk well alcoholic. All couples fight but abuse is on a totally different level which a lot of people are lucky enough to not deal with. I hope your doing well and getting better. Sending love and positive vibes
