@@krzysztofnowak9750 Niemen wykonywał w wielu językach, trochę po włosku (także Dziwny jest ten świat, choć z banalnym tekstem - Io senza lei). Ale nagrał kilka pełnych albumów po angielsku, z zupełnie innymi utworami niż w Polsce. Posłuchaj genialnej kompozycji Inside Im Dying, z Mahavishnu Orchestra i genialnym Urbaniakiem. Angielski tekst też jest Czesława, bo wbrew obiegowej opinii, Niemen bardzo dobrze posługiwał się angielskim. A tak na marginesie, znałem go osobiście, już od 1968r. Prywatnie to był niezwykle ciepły, życzliwy i skromny gość. Potrafił słuchać innych, nie wywyższał się. Oczywiście dla muzyków był bardzo wymagający, choć nie apodyktyczny, także dlatego że sam był niezwykle pracowity. Dla mnie największe jego utwory to Cztery ściany świata (jest video z Sopot 1974) z genialnym Piotrem Dziemskim na perkusji, oraz Com uczynił z "maluchami" jak ich żartobliwie nazywał z SBB.

Czesław Niemen wrote this piece (words and music) in communist Poland in 1967 in reference to the fashionable in the West wave of creating protest songs against the Vietnam War (Joan Baez, Bob Dylan and others). However, in the case of Czesław Niemen's work, it is about people of good will uniting against any evil.

Interestingly for way more than a decade in famous Polish Radio 3, this song was chosen by listeners to be number one polish song ever. Legendary radio voice of Marek Nidzwiedzki running list of best songs on last day of each year. Great times! Niemen was accompanied in international list by Dire Straits Brothers in arms. Both songs winning for so many years…

No, ako si ma potešil, Super, že si objavil speváka, ktorý spieval zo srdca pre mier, On z duše , spieval tak ako teraz Dimash! No netreba zabudnúť!!! na Niemena (nebol tak disciplínovaný ako je teraz Dimash, ani školy také nemal )No, zasial svojím jedinečným spevom, hrou na varhany,, a hudbou, ktorú skladal s citom - do mnohých ľudských životov. Bol ten inýýWell, how you pleased me, Super, you found a singer who sang from the heart for peace, He from the soul, sang like now Dimash! A small correction about Niemen's education, because it sounded a bit false. As far as I know, he had no formal musical education, but he was very well educated in another field (he was an electronics engineer or something like that) and he used it to create his music.

@@wujek2260 co ty wypisujesz. Jakim elektronikiem! Miał skończoną juz w Polsce średnią szkołę muzyczną w klasie fagotu, z doskonałymi wynikami. Wcześniej, jeszcze na Białorusi też chodził do szkół muzycznych. Czy wiesz, że już w Gdańsku, przez długi czas, zanim zaczął poważnie występować, pracował jako stroiciel fortepianów, tak tak, również dla orkiestr symfonicznych. Czesław, którego miałem szczęście znać już od 1968r., był niezwykle pracowitym gościem. Wbrew hipisiwskiemu wyglądowi, był bardzo sumienny, wymagający w pracy. Nigdy też nie pił ani nie palił. Żadnych innych używek rzecz jasna.

Czesław Niemen (1939-2004) is most known Polish singer ever and Dziwny jest ten świat (released on LP in may 1967) is most famous Polish song. It's a protest song against hate speech. Czeslaw bol moja srdcovka od mojích 18 rokov, teraz budem mať (až,- sa dožijem 70 rokov)!To som rada,že sa posúvate aj do minulosti, a tu boli mnohí- už zabudnutí, napríklad Yma Sumac, ktorú som počula keď som mala 12 rokov(len z "platní" cez gramafón""), chápem, že mnohí nevedia, čo bola platňa),nechcem nikoho uraziť, no mladí nás starcov často podceňujú----, no, my sme si muziky užili vo všetkých žánrov - od klasiky, opery, popu, repu do..., neviem sa správne vyjadriť... no,až do Dimasha !!! Czeslav Niemen is the author of the lyrics, the composer of the music and he is also the singer himself performing this song. It was presented and performed in 1967 at the Music Festival in Sopot / Poland. In 1962 the Cuban Crisis showed for the first time that humanity reached the level of destroying a whole world, with one weapon (nuclear). Czeslaw Niemen died in 2004 in Warsaw for stomach cancer after fighting the disease for decades. Here is the link u can watch him singing the song at the festival in 1967 (he wears stylised as old traditional Polish peasant clothes as a symbolic act). First live recording of Dziwny jest ten świat is from Opole festiwal 25.06.1967, 1 week after Janis on Monterey Pop Festival (16-18.06.1967).
