@@TheServalI think the coaching was more to explain for it. They consistently played 6 DB’s against the run. You will not beat any average running team with 6 DB’s on the field. Dallas is 1-2 years away due to coaching and weird roster construction

I think the reality is that there weren't really media figures that cared much about Stafford's career when he was in Detroit because there were no divisional banners and no playoff wins. It took going to a big market and winning a Super Bowl before the talking heads wanted to give him some credit.

Probably because the lions defense weakness is their secondary and the rams have several top tier receivers. The defense stepped up hard in the Red zone stopping the rams 2/3 TD season with 0/3. The defense showed up in the trenches.

Except your theory goes to crap considering the Lions didn't cover the point spread. So now you're going to have to come up with another theory because this makes no sense because it was the Rams bettors who all cashed their tickets in Vegas

Nobody mentioned that he got stepped on as well, granted it was inadvertently but still, he got smashed on that hit and his shoulder stepped on, not much worse that anybody could’ve gone through in that moment.
