This would be way better in tablet form. Personally, the 'gaming' tag is purely marketing. Once na masilabasan na rin 8 Gen 2 phones mid year, magtatalo na lang to sa price, max storage, and camera quality. For this price though, it's pretty competitive. That alone makes me want it if I were in search of a new phone. Worry ko lang dito is the LTS. How long will the manufacturer support this device in terms of software updates? Anyway, hopefully Xiaomi releases an 8 Gen 2 on their next tablets. Otherwise, 8+ Gen 1 would suffice especially since emulators are quite good these days!

I think camera quality is not a big deal since this is a gaming phone naman. Will definitely buy this soon! 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

front camera could have been better if they used a pop up cam like the old one plus 7T pro.. but i guess it hard to fit it in with all the fans

I'm considering this next to ROG 7 ultimate just for the pricing reason, but then i can still spare some extra bucks for the rog and probably would choose that over Redmagic, for these main reasons; ROG has a higher refresh rate and has the AeroActive cooler which benefits a lot for extended hours of heavy gaming, plus it has a mini subwoofer and an additional USB-C port slot at the bottom which is ergonomic when used in landscape rather than having it sticking out to the side. To top it off, i would always choose the one who's been in the industry of Gaming for years, ASUS has already established its name in this territory and they wouldn't compromise for anything. Hats off to the new guys in town for trying to compete while being affordable to the masses. Nevertheless, this redmagic is a great phone.
