I beg to differ, its one of those nights. Perhaps this one hurt the most, as we fans really need results at this moment yet we got otherwise. They performed really really well despite the result. The VAR also was against Manchester United. If we had a series of brilliant run, this loss will be brushed like it was nothing and the highlight would be the VAR not the misses.

Last nights refereeing was garbage overall, there's also that instance where Bruno had a shot on target during extra-time and the keeper clearly tipped it over...but the blind AF refs gave it a goalkick.

Apparently the "law" changed at the start of the season to null and void any handball leading up to a goal from an assist point of view so the only way for it to have "counted" was whether the referee deemed it to be deliberate or not. Anthony Taylor is not fit to referee as this is the latest in his catalogue of blunders. How has he not seen that as deliberate? If it was our defender doing that then the penalty would have been given. FA will do naff all about it of course.

The thing is, If a handball is unintentional but still affects the outcome in a way that it wouldn't If it wasn't a handball, then it should definitely be illegal. Imagine a 1v1 situation between an attacker and a goalkeeper. The attacker slips, accidentally touches the ball with his hand causing the ball to go past the goalkeeper which results in a teammate tapping the ball into the net. Should that handball be legal just because it wasn't deliberate? I could give countless more examples that would make this rule seem absurd.
