did you get the global version or china version?

@@emaazura2684 I wanted the larger 128 GB version to give lots of room for music, videos, apps etc, and that is not available in the Global version. I had to buy the Chinese one to get this 128 GB version. Having the Chinese version is no problem - it is stable, and is in English. Only thing that is missing from the Chinese version is the Google Playstore....but that takes 5 minutes to download. Once the Google Playstore is loaded with everything that comes with it, your phone will be like a regular Global version. There are plenty youtube videos explaining how to put Google Playstore on it - very simple. Oh, the other good thing about having the larger 128 GB Chinese version, is that you don't need to use an SD card to increase the memory, because it has enough. So this allows you to use the SD card slot for putting a second SIM card in the phone

@@johnk8091 and no screen burn to worry about too. I have a galaxy note 4 I've had it for a long time and I put a bigger battery in it a while back.. I'm looking to upgrade but fancy a change. I've had samsung phones all my life but a big screen and a big battery is a big plus for me so I was very interested in the mi max 3. I'm not over bothered about specs but the 6gb ram 128 rom appeals to me as I Download lots of music. Xiaomi have been around a while now and I'm seriously tempted to purchase that hulk of a phone!

@@RedskullPro I pay in Canadian dollars 332$ with DHL Express shipping from AliExpress in August . I'm in Quebec and here it's working perfectly ! Best phone for people love a big screen . This have Bluetooth 5.0 so for the future it's better and the range is almost 100 meters with it ! Android pie supposed to be there in the first quarter of 2019 . It's will be a big plus with the add of new features. Thank for the review , I know that you got so many phones , but multitasking are so great on a small tablet (phone) size . At the job it's the best compromise I can have .

@@frankylezard719 I was watching a few phones, all with more than 6.4 inch displays... Two days ago I ended up purchasing the Mi Max 3. It will replace my 2 years old Mi Max . The main reason to go for it was the price compared to others like Honor Note 10, Mate 20X, Honor 8 Max etc. I think I`ll enjoy it :)

me i sold my iphone X for mi max 2..nah never regret it at all..watching videos on utube,playing some games is great..but just lower ur expectation on it n u be fine..battery wise,damn i just dont need to find charger like how i did when using iphone..even left with 20% i could still dun feel wanna charge it n i wait till the next day..

I have mi max 3 with me, but I keep my iphone x with me too (yes of course I have both), because why in the hell I sold my iphone for something like a monstrously sized xiaomi mi max ? (even a mi max 2 far from flagship level) Don't get me wrong I love my mi phone too, but that's a entire different thing to discuss. I immediately purchase my mi max 3 to accompany my iphone when it came to the market...not to replace it, for me I need both worlds (android and ios). And what makes it so weird, why did you bought something like iphone x in the first place if you could find more satisfied with your mi max 2 after it? both phone have nothing similarities in terms of specs and market target. your purchase decision on iphone x was ridiculously wrong then.

you won't need to root it, you can just install the modded camera app apk (not available yet for xiaomi phones) but it will be soonish

you need to install the google services. Open the Mi app store and search for the google installer. it will install all the apps you need

Vreau un tel intre 6,5 - 7 inch ecran, baterie mare(să țină min.5 zile la frecat intens) și să fie și subțire . Tabletele ies din discuție pt.ca nu au specificațiile astea,sau cel puțin nu am găsit vreuna.

You should install the gcam modded APK for Mi Max2. Makes a lot of difference. I rooted mine, installed resurrection remix and gcam mod. Also custom kernal to pump up the clock speeds. Obviously also use high resolution to fit more on the screen, usually 550.

Poco and Xiaomi are making amazing phones, great value for the money...some other more expansive brands can't even get such quality with their flagships. They truly are flagship killers! I've got a Mi 9 for 2 years and it still works perfectly, like it was new!

I've been using it with decent success on tmobile, slightly worse coverage than the mi mix I used before but I've had 98 percent or so LTE coverage in urban and suburban areas on tmobile.
