I don’t get spooked easily but looking away from a mirror and realizing your own reflection isn’t following your movements is terrifying.

Some clever ideas here, well executed, nice intercutting and i love when he is being chased, his evil self/doppelganger follows him as a reflection in the water, very unsettling piece and some creepy-ass woods too, excellent location-finding, all in all an impressive short film !

Brilliant film, original ideas, but with a gothic edge. The cold cast to the film worked superbly well, and set the mood: immediately something was 'off' about the situation here. Pure craftsmanship on every front, you are a talented team:)

2 things I've heard about mirrors.... #1 They are considered a portal to the unliving and or ghost's #2 well it's a fact but If you stare long enough into one your mind will start playing tricks on you 😊...... So this one is a good one

I grew up in an area like that. This movie spooked me. From baiting the hook to the last look all I could say was Nope…. Nope….Yeah…. Nope…

The Reflection of him really think he would die when he try to suffocate himself with a tiny thread 😂😂😂 only if you watch closely and seriously with your headphones the music and the Voices from behind like Growling makes u scare but seriously there's nothing to scare about inthis horror short movie there's no Ghost no spirit no grudge no dead bodies just himself having a bad dream while trying to catch a fish.. But still I enjoyed watching it and we need more videos like this keep up the Good work...

This was pretty good I can definitely see how this great film won so many awards the actor the crew all did a great job the ending creeper me out a little movies where people are trapped in mirrors or paintings or t.v sets in this case mirrors always creep me out but they are fun to watch horror has always had superior special effects more than non genre films IMO this film is no different loved this one in love with this film

I loved this. The sound design, the monotone colors, it all left me with a “wtf did I just watch” feeling.

I'm glad to learn that I'm not the only person in the world freaked out by large mirrors!

If I almost died after picking up an ancient looking mirror inside of a pond, my first instinct wouldn't be to pick it up and stare into but to throw the shit back into the pond and make a run for it.

The facial expressions and weird mumbling were great. It reminded me a ton of the guy from Inland Empire who puts a curse on the woman with the screwdriver. The weird finger thing he does with the crazy faces and mumbling. Love it.

I'd end it with the main character coughing up water as soon as the bad version threw the mirror into the lake. Very good and the last mirror shot was clever.

It was a modern play on the story of Narcisis looking into Echo Lake and seeing his Reflection...than his Decent into Madness surrounded by Mirrors, more of him him him and Self Reflection...oui?

I like how this movie scaring psychologically,here is not any jumpscares with demons,its just everyone have their bad side and sometimes it can take over you,and thats what really scary,also actor play is great,especially when he moved only one eye,it was pretty uncanny

This is one short film that missed it's true calling. I'd love to see a feature length film based on this idea. Excellent work.

If I were you, I'd come closer to the jump cut in the second half of the scene, but I'd do a huge close-up towards the face. At the end, I think I would have added a scene where you throw it far away like a boomerang . I'm going to post a short film because it's 100% the same.

How does this channel keep it's subscription list to such a limited number? I feel like I've joined an exclusive club. The short film was very well done. The imagery of the mirrors standing in the desolate field with the single dead tree was very artistic and eerie as.

There are truly interesting story elements here, but that's it. Overall the acting was at times decent but then would become so hokey that I wasn't engaged like I should be. The use of the blue filter made everything look so grey and boring Some of the camera techniques were great and others just made everything jump around. Overall, it was a very mixed bag which dampened the experience. I will say however, that the elements that work, really work. I would go back to the drawing board with this one and try making a few subtle changes to give the movie more life.

Creepy, in a good way. I always, maybe not always, like when there are only blue variations used. Makes it more stark, which I love.
