@@dundonrl Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The 5600 was the original structure size. It's definitely a lot closer to the 8K mark now. They added the equivalent of at least a 1500 sq foot house just with the space over the garage. The actual parking space wouldn't count toward the living space, but the part above it & the walkway between would count. With some of the modifications to the main house, they've easily added several hundred square feet to that part of the house as well. With everything that they have added about I'd guess it's close to 7500 of actual living space at this point if not more.

WD40 will remove in minutes. If on a horizontal surface, just spray and leave for 5 minutes. If on a vertical surface ie windows, spray with WD40, apply kitchen roll or tissue over it and spray again. Make sure the tissue/kitchen rolls stays in place. Again, the sticky glue will remove like butter in 5 minutes. If top layer of label is hard to remove, work the WD40 underneath to help remove top layer. x

This house has a septic system that takes electricity, its gonna have at minimum 3 a/c units running probably near non stop and I’m willing to bet he’ll have an electric water heater or few that are also gonna be consuming large amounts of electricity. I don’t know how deep his well is so I don’t know how much juice that’ll be taking but I’m assuming it won’t be kind either. I’d almost be willing to venture that one residential 200 amp service would almost not be enough for this place. I would be absolutely flabbergasted if this house could achieve net-zero.

In old English law, legally a mansion is the term for the main building on a large estate, or the primary home of local nobility. Any property big enough for a rifle range and a pool and a 5 car garage is an estate in my book, and Matt is certainly local nobility... I mean, look at that view!

I concur. "Carriker Manor" sounds just as mansionISH as my suggestion of, "Carriker House." I went with "House" over "Manor" for the reasons of definition distinction. A "Manor", is an estate consisting of lands of the estate that are, usually, leased to tenants. A "House" is a dwelling lived in by a family, "The Carriker's." The "House" can also be used as a gathering place for a group to participate in a particular activity, such as, "Demolishion Ranch" collaborations. Indeed! Whole-heartedly agree. You want to put in hot zones for WiFi, a small server room for all your data com, home automation and entertainment systems. If you want to get real fancy, install a wall-mounted AC unit dedicated for cooling the room. Electrons like it cool.
