The sheep had so much fleece, and was so overheated, can the sheep get hypothermia, or chills from just not having the hot fleece anymore?

Guess that's why they give him a coat after the shaving :) and he sleeps inside now.

this are doing humans! create sheep with too much wool, that they are not able to live. where is compassion in human beings?
@odach2034
@odach2034 3 роки тому
You just saw the compassion in human beings, they just went out of their way to shave 78lbs of wool off a sheep they didn't have to do it, but they did.
@selbst105
@selbst105 3 роки тому
@@odach2034 what you say is right, too!! :) i thought this too. but without humans who breed such "races" (to get more wool out of it) the sheep never would have looked that way and experienced not be able to walk and almost died from it. i think all sides could have learned something out of it.

@@selbst105 For now, it's a minority of humans who have compassion to rescue farmed animals and not participate in their exploitation. The problem is the perception, that using and killing animals for humans' benefit is acceptable, as it's become normalized by societies and governments, all because of financial incentive.

There must be a natural way for sheep to shred the furr... Sheeps cannot remain dependent on humans.
@orpheusowlallearthlingsmat6076
@orpheusowlallearthlingsmat6076 2 роки тому
These farmed sheep are unnaturally and genetically bred to produce 10 times the amount of wool they would normally have, which makes them permanently dependent on the humans who deformed them like this. They weren't meant to live long either, as they're sent to slaughter after a certain time. Same thing with chickens, who are genetically altered to grow so fast their legs can't handle their weight and their bones snap.
