Thank you ADI for giving these animals the life that they deserve. Shame on those circus owners for saying that they are part of their family when you can clearly see those animals are abused and neglected. Putting a chain on an animal is not part of the family. Those circus owners are just mad because their money makers are gone.

We need more people like this in the world.

Abused for years, these beautiful animals get live to the rest of their lives safe & happy. Poor things probably think they died & are now in heaven.

You don't abuse the animals? Chained and living in the back of a truck is not abuse? Malnourished as well. If that's how you treat a "family member", I'm glad I'm not in your family. It's long over due but time to give up the poor animals.

I cannot thank all of you enough for what you are doing. For ABC covering the story and allowing the animals voices to be heard all over the world, to the men and women putting themselves at risk to go and save these animals from horrible situations. And of course for the sanctuary's for taking in these animals and giving them the lives they could only dream of outside of the wild they can never see. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. These fools are crying that they're gonna loose the animals. That's the exact same way the animals also cried when they were captured in the wild and kept in those filthy tiny cages. Women are crying here not for the love towards the animal but because of their mode of income has come to end

I know they´ll be in a sheltered area, but the difference to tiny cages, deprived of any rights to be an animal is enormous....The horrific abuse and cruelty of theese animals, just to be in a circus or make some tourists happy anywhere is frightening...I´ve been a member of World Animal Protection for a long time, and this is just one of the rewards to see them in their natural environment.....thank you...

These magnificent animals deserve to be treated with respect and compassion, they deserve their freedom. And while they more than likely will never be able to returned to the wild, they should be at a sanctuary. No chains around their necks or legs!

I feel so bad that I didn't understand their situation when I was a child. As an animal lover and now an adult, it broke my heart when I began to 'get it', beginning with zoos. No animal should be pinned up like that. God bless these people for their dedication. I was also so happy when whales were outlawed in water parks. It was like they were swimming in a small sink, compared to their size. 🙁

It is time for ADI to take on the state of Texas. Sadly because the US Congress refuses to pass laws making private ownership of big cats illegal in this case Bengal tigers sold online, each state will have to be dealt with. Winning in Texas would make other states fall like dominoes as Texas has more tigers in private ownership than tigers left in the wild estimated at 3500. Only India has more in this situation than Texas. Interestingly most owners are already in violation of Texas law which requires you to permit your tiger so inspections can be done of their habitats. Only 47, yes out of thousands, only 47 permits have been issued for ownership outside of zoos and sanctuaries. It's time to save Texas' tigers!

The power to stop this insane cruel behaviour is with you and me - don’t go to circuses that have animals - don’t go to zoos - don’t have your photo taken whilst on holiday with any animal - don’t finance this behaviour and it will stop... these people are fabulous freeing these beings..

Not every situation of neglect has evil people behind it. Sometimes it's normal people who might genuinely care about the animal but just aren't fit to be caretakers. Feel bad for the people but glad for the animals going to a better living situation

These people are wonderful what they are doing with their lives they are making a difference in an animal's life. Just think of it what if you were born a lion or a tiger or an animal that is caged up how would you feel you never know what is in store for you. Choses what you are I could have been born an animal and I could have been in a cage but I was born a human being I wish I could do something to help out I would go to work for people like them and do my services for free

Sadly, the tiger Hoover who was featured in this story died this month due to health issues. While he had a hard life, at least for the last few years he was able to have a wonderful life at the Big Cat Rescue sanctuary.

Mankind is on his "final leg".....soon, the animals will have the earth again. Can everyone "Feel This?" No comments needed.

I cried especially for the lions homecoming. I wish this for all wild animals, that we could somehow restore all the injustices done to innocent animals.

I knew a family friend who used to have a lion who lived in a renovated barn with a big fenced in yard, it was pretty cool to see as a kid. I visited the guy with my family a bunch, I actually was able to pet her and she was like a house cat. I saw inside the barn once or twice and it had these platforms leading up to the loft and I’m quite sure there was a ball hanging from the rafters and some heavy duty dog toys on the ground. There was a lot of hay up in the rafters, I think that was her where her bed was, but I don’t really know. She seemed to be happy, I very clearly remember playing fetch with her every time I visited. I’m pretty sure it was illegal for the dude to keep her but he never was caught. I know she passed away when I was 14 and I knew he had her before I was born so I’m guessing she was around 17/18 when she passed. The last time I saw her she was the same, still nice and playful. I really hope she had a good life, maybe not as good as it could have been if she lived in the wild but I at least hope she was happy. She never looked skinny and I knew she always had water, so I’m sure he fed her well. She wasn’t ever aggressive so at least she wasn’t hungry. I feel guilty for not telling anyone about her, but then again, I was a kid. I thought it was just so cool that I got to see a loin up close. I don’t know if I should feel guilty or not, but at least the guy never had any other exotic pets. I never plan on getting a lion either, I think I’ll stick with my plain ol’ house cat.
