I swear, this man sees a game release, gets the WR in it’s speedrun, and then moves to the next game. He’s like a damn hit man for speed running.

The way they did this remake looks gorgeous. RE4 was one of the first PS2 games I ever bought for myself, got a copy back when GameCrazy existed.

Watching the final krauser sequence and fight done by a speedrunner is so poetic, everything just flows so perfect.

I have a question, in order to get infinite ammo, you need to finish the game with professional mode and finishing it 5 hours 30 minutes game play. Can I start it with professional then while on the game make it assisted then before finishing the game make it professional again. It can be done on changing difficulties right? If the first one couldn't be done, how about before any chapter ends, change it back to assisted then when going to the next chapter make it professional again..sorry for the questions but I just want to clarify something because, from what I've read, the criteria for infinite ammo is professional mode, finishing it under 5 hours and 30 minutes and just 15 saves. Thank you for the ones who will answer my question. I want that cat ears so bad.

I recently got the game after hours upon hours of watching speedruns of it and it's interesting how much influence the runs have on me. I go into a segment, know the route, start doing the route, then remember "oh wait I actually want to explore and enjoy this game thoroughly" then backtrack LOL. Nowhere NEAR this level either so I'm afraid following the route would have me miss out on resources I WILL need whereas someone like Dist doesn't.

The fight for the WR is real, it's been just a day and spicee improved this record, this competition is crazy damn.

I find it’s about a 50/50 chance for the villagers to not get aggro after that first stealth kill before I shoot the first guy around the corner, or am I just doing something wrong

Can someone here in the comments explain to me why he only needed 7 spears to kill Del Lage? When I'm playing on Professional difficulty, this boss is a run killer every time. It feels like I need 20 spears to take him down. Does it make a difference where on the body you throw the spears? I'm puzzled...

I wonder how many hours do speedrunners put into this game to get good. I'm not trying to be especially methodical, so I guess I could get better in the time I've spent, but still it depresses me that I miss so many parries etc...

I know it's a speedrun so you don't have time to go over everything but I would still really be interested in learning where it is they dug up the bugs!

I’m so irritated watching this, like I spent HOURS trying to defeat most of these bosses, and you’re slaying them in 10 seconds or less… first time playing RE, going back to play the entire franchise, but the remake took me 34 hours to beat 😅
