@featheredskeptic1301Рік тому
Usually you can wash old grease and oil with either paint thinner or gasoline. At least non silicone grease that is. They are byproducts of oil refining, and carbon based lubricants can be dissolved in them. The only potential problem may be plastics that paint thinner and gasoline can attack.

Also, a siren works by the fins (vanes) sucking in air through the front and centrifugal forces fling the air outwards and away from the rotor and pass through the stator. Since the rotor and stator is slotted, it pulses the air. And thus creates an on and off popping sound. This can be sped up to create a tone. In this case, there are 12 holes, therefore making it 12 ports. The slot count on the stator doesn't really matter but it's most efficient if the stator slots are the same size as the rotor slots. The smaller the gap between the rotor and stator, the louder the sound will be. You can also create dual-toned sirens. It's just two rotors and stators or 1, (See ACA Screamer S-10) with different port counts. TLDR A siren pulses air via sucking through the front and blowing outwards and creates noise
