When I worked at our local humane society, a lady came in and surrendered her dog. About 4 hours later the dog started having puppies. The shelter manager said she wouldn't be able to raise them in a shelter environment and to put them all to sleep. I just couldn't do it, so I adopted all 7 of them, moma and babies. I keep them at home with me for 8 weeks and then found them all good homes and mama too. They all went to close friends and relatives so I got to keep an eye on them on a weekly basis.

Oh my god she looked so sad in the beginning. You could almost see how grateful she is after seeing her puppies. Great video :)

She's so sweet and beautiful. I'd love to adopt a little sweetheart like her! The more I'm exposed to humans, the less I like them. These former owners are the dregs of humanity.

That change from frightened and shy to overjoyed was just wonderful to watch :)

Great video. From her interest in the cage, I suspect not all of the puppies were retrieved. I hope I'm wrong. Nonetheless, mom seems much relieved and so very happy!

The mom was very nervous. But seeing the puppies, shes like: "What? It's... puppies? My puppies?! MY PUPPIES!! *goes to lady* Thank you thank you thank you!!"

I really really hope you got all of her puppies back, seems like she is looking for more. When my dog had puppies and we had to remove one of them she definitely noticed and couldn't relax until the missing puppy was back.

Thanks for all you are doing for these precious creatures. After watching this video a couple of times, I had the feeling that these were not all of her puppies. Mother keeps looking for them in the thing there were brought in. One or more may have died before she left--or were in such bad condition that the people were ashamed to let the people see them? What do you think? She seems to still be looking for more puppies at the end of the video.

This brings me so much joy... Love this, and absolutely love what you're doing! This gives me so much hope and determination to one day have my own shelter and be able to do things like this...

This is one of the cutest and sweetest videos I have saw in a very long time. I love how the momma seamed sad and scared but once she saw her puppies she come out and was so happy. it almost brought a tear to my eye!
