I was there at Wembley for this fight and there was no atmosphere like it. It was absolutely incredible. For 41 year old Klitschko to take it to 28 year old Joshua was remarkable and while he may have lost, he retired on his feet like a true champion. Respect to both. 👏

It's like a student sitting across the table from his school teacher, it's clear to see AJ admires Wlad and Wlad sees AJ like a son. It's unreal to think they're about to have a tear up.

This fight was indeed a classic. I revisit that bout every once in a while. A true "passing of the torch moment " in sports history.

Klitschko and AJ are like a mirror of each other in some ways.

Wladimir has shown so much class, integrity & good spirit...so refreshing to see a fighter that's honest and genuine about himself plus the transparency of his truth exuding out his pores. Even tho he's lost..he's the prototype of how a champion is supposed to carry themselves...as a grown man but to each their own. I might not like his style of fighting but i respect his intestinal fortitude and his integrity.

I love both of them. Class, sportsmanship, respect and passion for the sport💥🥊❤️ Hardest fight to watch but most legendary fight of our generation. Great men, great boxers!

That’s two different generations of boxers sat opposite each other, it’s crazy. Klitschko was winning gold at the Olympics before AJ even put on a pair of gloves. I wish Klitschko was a little younger - then this fight would be a real war, he was past his prime and still have one hell of a show, imagine how a 32 year old Klitschko would perform.

Thought I'd revisit this gloves are off having just watched AJ beat Pulev. It's interesting to watch it again after all that's happened since AJ beat Klitschko,he lost to Ruiz,came back,did what he needed to do,which was basically fight like the Klitschko of old. You can tell that AJ has a very similar mind set to Klitschko, he's obviously studied Klitschko a lot over the years (which he even said himself in this interview) and is a big admirer and has huge respect for how Klitschko conducts himself. I've said it before on a different post but, I'd love to see Klitschko as part of AJ's team in the future,it's great to see integrity and respect between two fighters like this,it's very uplifting and a pleasure to watch.

Even with Klitschko’s obsession, he knew he was losing. He handled this interview very well, and he had probably seen the outcome in his mind.
