this needs to be a series, any combination of James/Jeremy/Richard with a different drink/cocktail each time talking about the drink itself and any conversational tangents that come of it. Feels like having a drink with old friends I've known for a long time

Spent my childhood watching them and today as 25 years old I still cant get over the elegancy of the conversation between these guys. Sad to see them getting old.

If Jeremy, James and Richard hangs out at the pub and talk about anything and live stream it. I'd watch it and I reckon quite a lot of other people too.

I think these two have had a bromance for years. There's a genuine bond between them and I really enjoy listening to their chats. James' voice is comforting to listen to.

The banter is impeccable. I don’t care how many times they’ve said they hate each other over the years, these are the friendships I strive to have.

I ordered a bottle of each type when the US version was first made available expecting to receive a letter in the mail with some stickers and a nice letter explaining that the whole thing is a joke and that I wouldn't be charged and thank you for supporting the madness of James May. Instead what arrived was 2 bottles of rather excellent gin.

Richard is the glue of the team, and must be well appreciated for that.

My favorite thing about "The Reassembler" was that James May would pontificate on screwdrivers, tea, or the like. Having "What's Next" do this with James, Richard, and some gin is absolutely wonderful.

The way they scuff "thats alright, idn't it" cracks me up...thank you James and Richard for all you do.

honestly i love how they constantly make sarcastic comments about how viewers must find them just sitting around talking incredibly dull but that’s what i love about them, how they make usually boring stuff like listening to people talk incredibly interesting. that’s why i really really want a podcast from them discussing everything. please make it happen.

I can attest to the quality of James's Gin. Bought one of the first signed batch and as a non G&T afficionado absolutely loved it. When I gave it to my mum who is a proper G&T fan she said it was brilliant. I didn't tell her where it came from. Could have been a £20 bottle for all she knew. Unfortunately it's all gone and I'll need to buy more.

It's crazy thinking back to when I used to watch Top Gear growing up as a kid/teenager and now here I am as a grown (I guess) adult watching a video of James and Richard drinking gin while drinking alongside them. I've enjoyed everything these guys have produced and I doubt there's anything they could be a part of which I wouldn't enjoy.

Richard is spot-on about the river Test being a chalk stream. They're fed by aquifers so they don't have much seasonal change to them and they're remarkably clear. Fun fact, of the 210 worldwide rivers classified as chalk streams, 160 are located in England.

Just received my order yesterday, tasted it straight, delish, then made G and T's, very excellent. Gave a bottle to a friend, they straight away ordered some as we were enjoying those GnTs. Love the shipping special, please keep that as an option!

And regarding what Mr Hammond could do I believe that you've already done it, you mastered the art of surviving serious car accidents, admittedly it's a difficult thing to share with others but nevertheless it's a remarkable achievement that must be acknowledged.

For the love of whatever gods you believe in please do more of these. We could honestly watch and listen to these two for hours.

l genuinely love watching interactions between Hammond, May & Clarkson as there is a unique magic to them that that 3 can only bring to a conversation that bring joy to my life but they make me sad at the same time because l know each one is one closer to the last one which will be a great loss. Hope we have many more decades of Hammond, May & Clarkson sunsets before the sun sets for the last time.

Fun fact: Loads of new Gin brands popped up in Ireland over the last several years. Most of these are new distillers awaiting licenses to make whiskey (an excellent investment). Gin is very easy to produce. The sheer choice and marketing of this modern gin had a big effect on how trendy it is. Having said that gin is a superb beverage.

Elegant crisp tones, discerning, intelligent conversation with subtle wit and humorous articulation. You try getting that with "Paddeh" and "Freddeh".

Thanks to you guys I finally I found my drink that doesn't give me hangover and doesn't make me drink a lot of it.

Splendid post chaps, the botanical Richard is on about in River Test Gin is Meadowsweet, they do also use Angelica as well, but Meadowsweet grows in boggy damp ground neat clear rivers. I have had bottles of both Asian Parsnip and the Navy Strength and they are great gins.

I wish they could get Oz Clarke to pontificate about James' gin.

I could easily do an hour of you 2 and Clarkson having a drink and chatting about whatever. This was fun to watch!

It's every time a pleasure to see you guys. It's fun and entertainment on a higher level. Well, you're British, and the British sense of humor is special. What I know about it, it's so many, but could say: never cheap, solid and often with little dose ironic. I hope could taste the gin on a gin tasting, before I buy it. I think nothing is more bad than buying something, specially drinks, and than you realise, it was a bad idea. The price you call is, I think, realistic. As I recall, the Gin botanical Richard is talking about is called Meadowsweet. I'm sure I remember hearing the name on some documentary or something years ago. I googled the name and it seems to fit Hammond's description in that it grows in clean chalk streams and The River Test Disillary use it in their London Dry Gin.

This is what gets me, it doesn't matter the mix. Be it Jeremy and James, James and Hammond, Hammond and Jeremy or all three. The chemistry just works. They are thoroughly enjoyable regardless.

I have been a car guy my whole life and as a result watched top gear and later the grand tour. I have to say though, these guys and the trio as a whole are the reason I loved both. This has to be one of my favorite “what’s next” videos topped only by the Lego drinking challenge. I genuinely feel like if what’s next covers all the topics Richard talked about in the last video and adds the banter of 2 or 3 of them then they are on to something. Things I love plus them makes me happy.

I know Richard is known as "Hamster" but if he ever makes a drink it must be called "The Cat" because hes got nine lives.
