I had the fortune at my high school to partecipate at a extracurricolar project called "all'opera, all'opera". They let us see at the famous "San Carlo" theater great operas chosen by 3 possible sequences of titles. You chose one and with €10 (for each opera) you could see the operas (and Also ballets) but before you saaw the opera/ballet there was a discussion about it... It was one of the most marvellous experience of my life... I have seen 10 or more operas there at "San Carlo" theater... I had so much good luck by experiencing that magic...

Haven't seen one and doubt I would ever see one but my love for this genre is pure! My kinda jam...

Have you even tried true Mexican or Greek cuisine? Indonesian is amazing as well. But Italian food? Not even a bloody Chili pepper in sight, just loads of salt and parmigiano to cover up the lack of flavour. The only good things coming from Italy are Verdi, Botticelli and Luciano Pavarotti.

It's probably not what you meant, but just in case. You do know of course that this is not "Pavarotti's music". This is music by Giuseppe Verdi, and it's not a stand-alone song either, it's an aria from opera Rigoletto. But you probably used it as a figure of speech, just clarifying in case someone misunderstands you. Pavarotti was a great singer, one of the best tenors ever; I feel lucky having heard him live, but he wasn't a composer. I am sure you know it, but some people may be confused.
