I can say that I was captured by the line: “I love you Seoul, I hate you Seoul” cause as he mentioned early in the start of the song, Seoul does sounds like “soul”. This is how I felt about it: He's playing with the words, not making it clear if he's saying soul or Seoul. I feel like he means that sometimes he hates the city for the ambient it holds, but sometimes he hates his soul for feeling like that about it when it's still part of him. But that's the point, it's just part of him. That's why he keeps mixing Seoul and soul, love and hate, and creating THAT feeling. Isn't love, isn't hate, is just both of them creating a new feeling which takes place of his soul.
