2024 anyone?

I was going through some tough stuff when this came out. I was 27, really not in a happy place, pretty desperate, in a relationship with a narcissist, who drove my mental health into a dark place. This song summed up where I was in life. Thankfully I’m in a good place now. So to anybody reading this in a dark place in their life, hang on in there, time passes, things don’t stay the same, and you will find light in your life. ❤

When I was a young boy, 4-5 years old, my family wasn’t very rich. My mother didn’t have many cds, but one she had was a Robbie Williams CD. Every night she’d play his hits. This one especially. Hearing this song takes me back to my childhood, dancing to Robbie Williams music, making my parents happy during tough times. Robbies music will always have a special place in my heart.

Since I was a little girl I felt connected to this song. I didn't really understand the lyrics literally but it was like my baby heart did. 15 years later I am finally leaving my toxic and abusive home. Next week I fly out of state to start a new life. Today I was sitting in a restaurant and this song started playing and I could finally fully understand it. I have always felt like this and I finally opened my eyes and put myself first. I'm so happy I didn't give up and I get to start a new life. I hope anyone going through the same as me can find a way out too 🖤
