I recently lost my mum, but this song will always remind me of her. When it came out I went and bought the 12” vinyl and put it on straight away when I got home. When it had finished playing my mum shouted out from upstairs, “Mike, put that one on again, and turn it up!” RIP mum, I hope that you’re dancing around in heaven to tracks like this.

I was born in 1981 so by the time I was 10 in 5th grade I remember how this music dominated the radio whenever I was getting taken to school. I wish I was slightly older so I could’ve enjoyed it in the clubs with everybody else lol.

I'm an old Texas country boy and back in my 20's when this song was popular and they played it at the beer joint this was one of only a handful of songs that they could play to get me and my buddies out on the dance floor and make us get our swerve on!! LOVE THIS!!!!!!!
