What I don't understand is the push for realism on roblox. Roblox will never be a real life experience, its a social online game, thats what makes it so special. Why do we need price adjustments for items that are selling good or items that are selling bad?

My god, this left me in shock. Some people are struggling and roblox is their only escape when they get home. I feel their pain now because this stupid rule will ruin their day completely, customising an avatar and buying new things gives you a sense of calm, this however: just presents stress.

This will effect the roblox community by: forcing a bunch of players to quit, because they want something free, and the people with robux will have less when buying, because they are charged more. They might also become desperate for robux. And, developers who make ugc will become way more greedy, making items way more often to make tons of robux. I hope that roblox changes their mind and lets people make their items free or cost less than fifty and I also hope they become less greedy.

Roblox makes me upset for making all the cheaper items we're turned into 50 robux than it's origininal value. Keep in mind that roblox also turned all the free dynamic faces into 70 robux and also the Free Rthro we're also turned into 170!?

This is why people want the old roblox back, roblox has a variety of games and items made by PEOPLE not by roblox but now roblox is taking control of what people make, how they sell it or even the price. am i the only one who is mostly especially devastated from the limited update? limiteds used to be so simple. but now there are literally millions of ugc items that will keep becoming limited and then running out of stock while before it was wayyy simpler. but then again that could mean something i buy’s price would rise and i could resell it, but most roblox players cant afford premium so what’s the point?

Tbh this was a bad idea like if u buy something too much because of low price if Roblox raises the price people might stop buying them and the money they earn will vanish from Roblox or the person that makes the UGC-s. the cheaper the item is the more people wanna buy it (if they like it ofc). I think Roblox is on the verge of going down soon. Any game i go into has servers filled with mostly default skins instead of the actual skins people are using. I thought it was just one game, but then I went to a PSX trading plaza and the avatars are default there as well.

Not experienced in Economics but More of an item = Less Demand = Lower Prices Less of an item = More Demand = Higher Prices So prices will probably mostly depend on the quantity of the item, if there is 1 of an item, its likely to cost a ton of robux.

This is such an awful update, because now if a cheap item is selling well, it will get expensive to the point where people would probably just re-upload that item for their smaller price floor and steal the original creators profit. Rinse and repeat until UGC is a cloning factory.

I think that this update has some rly good ideas ngl! The fact that Roblox can raise the price of items that sell a lot doesn't make sense to me. the only reason why we cant sell free items anymore is because welp there is very cool items in the marketplace that costs on a cheap price or high price and yknow how people spent their robux..... ahem headless. and so if we sell a very cool looking item like a hat or a shoulder pal for free its not gonna be fair those spending robux on other items or simliar looking ones so thats why roblox forces you to put a robux limit i dont think its bad because there is a lot of free items that are can be obtained by codes event or limited ugc thing you know some people sell limited ugc for free so you can sell them and get robux its not actually not a big deal when you think about it
