Het dichtste dat België nog zat met een ongelijke winst was in 2003. 😳 Toen stonden ze 2de. Vanaf toen meestal tussen de 6de & 8ste plaatst. Ik herinner me zelfs eens een voorlaatste plaats 😂

​@@jay38869 Thanks for your reaction. (from a Dutch person as well) I've lived there all my life (and still) and couldn't disagree more about Rotterdam. Overijssel and Gelderland beautiful because of the nature, I agree! Also, comparing Rotterdam and nature is like apples and pears. But Rotterdam is one of its kind, with many hidden gems (I wrote an article about that even and give people walking/cycle tours around the city for fun sometimes). Lots of these gems are very well known by locals, btw. Yes, still quite some grey buildings. Most of them are being renovated now. After WWII the city needed houses and buildings quick, without having money. This didn't go hand in hand with beauty, that is true. Some of them are still hideous. For a long time, and still maybe even, Rotterdam was the poorest city in the Netherlands. The last 10 years, the city has more money and is working very hard on removing the grey, to make space for high-class architecture. By renovating and building new buildings, parks, unique innovations, adding hundreds of street-art murals on grey walls and other projects. Look into the current and future projects on, for example, RTMXL (website/fb - I am not related to that), so you can see what new is happening in the city. It is thriving! :)

I totally agree. I loved the whole show in Rotterdam. It was from one amazing performance into the next. Also Devina Michelle, the show on the bridge. The 2019 just kept on giving! And so many amazing performances from so many countries. A lot could have taken the win, Italy had a killer song and performance but I wouldn't have been surprised if France, Switzerland, Ukrain or Iceland would have won. Even the songs that were considered the worst (for example 'I don't feel hate' from Germany) I liked a lot

Most of those people are just jealous of her. I bet half the people bashing her are fatter than a whale themselves. I am amazed on her voice barely changed in 16 years and she still has the moves. A lot of singers would have hung it up by now. Also interesting to think that her 2005 dancers are likely in their late 30s early 40s now. The dancers she had here were only under 12 when she won it.
