Smith is a tank, but he didn't realize that he can't roll a super tank Rodtang. He could impose his will on other Thai fighters by exchanging their best shots and seeing who would survive. Rodtang is in full control of every aspect of the fight. He hit hard but not enough to knock out tough nails like Smith. Smith Vs. Superlek would be interesting. Superlek is a different beast. Unlike Rodtank who punished the opponent with cumulative shots, Superlek would end the opponent in the ring.

LOOK PEOPLE ‼️‼️‼️ First you gotta have huge balls to even get in the ring with Rodtang:- he is an Enigma. A wrecking machine. Jacob Smith went through the UK division like a whirlwind becoming UK No-1 in around 16/17 fights. Beat Spains No-1 (plus since this fight beat Sweden’s best too). He earned a place there against Rodtang and trained for the normal barnstorming Champion. BUT Rodtang had also done a lot of homework on Smith. So he changed his game to close combat elbows which made all the damage to Smith. Ive watched Rodtang finish off tough fighters as soon as he sees blood with ease. Smith stood toe to toe with a world champion who has lost more than he himself had won and walked out on his own 2 feet. Lessons learnt? Of course and all for the better. Massive RESPECT to Smith for even taking the fight. Balls of steel IMO…… Now we have Rodtang avoiding Superlek, who called him out after his ninth straight win at the Lumpinee 14/7/23. I would put a nice chunk of change that IF Rodtang stops avoiding Superlek, the belt will be going home with a new owner. As for Smith, watch this space. Shout out for Allazov who was just tough as they come to win the Kick Boxing Grand Prix at the weekend 💪🏻. That division is awesome.
