yeah it's one of the most taxing tests that I usually do for the channel, I have to make sure I don't get disturbed for the duration of the drain test, and since the ROG phones take forever to die, it makes it a lot harder!

well the ROG 3 has a year's worth of optimization updates over the ROG 5, so given time I'm sure the ROG 5 will definitely improve performance as well as thermals, heck that first update got my normal gaming temps down from almost 60C to the high 40s, something the Mi11 is still having issues with and they were the first to come out with that SD 888

I feel like the bs4 pro being the lowest is ok since it can fully charge in like an instant and the hyper watt Charing can only work with a battery at 4500mah currently

speaker comparison is completely opinion based in my opinion, people hear things differently and look for different things in a speaker, I favor bass heavy speakers while my wife doesn't so it's all down to personal preference, but no doubt these two phones have the best speakers right now

Asus Rog 5 has a massive 58 mins less battery compared to Asus Rog 3 (6 hours 14 mins vs 7 hours 12 mins) and Xiaomi Black Shark 4 pro has 1 hour 22 mins less battery compared to Black Shark 3 Pro, you could literally watch an entire football match between the time it takes for BlackShark 3 battery to die compared to Black Shark 4 Pro. Heck, you can watch the entire 1st half of a movie before the interval in that period (5 hours 2 mins vs 6 hours 24 mins). Seriously how hard is it for Asus & Xiaomi to be like ZTE there is barely any difference between Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 5, why can't they be consistent instead of destroying the phone battery for their latest phones? Absolutely disgusting how the phone companies love to advertise that their batteries are good as last year.

Been a month now since I got my Red Magic 6 pro. It is an absolute beast! Gets amazing connections/speed. Played 4 hours yesterday on 4g without noticing I wasn't on WiFi. The battery is incredible, lasting all day at 165hz, full brightness with about 2-4 hours of gaming and normal use for the rest. Also even contacted Nubia directly to test their customer service and it has increased tremendously!!! So happy with my phone, will never look back.

The service was too sporadic outside of major cities...so I got a Sony Xperia 1 iii for my normal cell now, and use the RM for gaming on wifi only. Honestly, after further research every single "gaming phone" , Red Magic, ROG, Etc don't spend any money on the bands for the US. It makes our typical connection outside of cities, shit. Sorry to give you this bad news...but imo the best gaming phone for the US is the Xperia 1 iii.

it does get as bright as the Black Shark and ROG, but that is indoors, I personally like the brightness levels on it and find the other two a bit dim but outdoors is a different matter, the Black shark and ROG 5 have insane outdoor brightness, probably because they are Samsung panels.

Hey buddy, yesterday in India ROG 5 was on sale, but I'm looking for lenovo legion dual 2, I'm fan of Rog devices and still a beast but somehow lenovo won this year in overalls performance because of its heat Integrated dissipation system. So will you tell me when lenovo legion going to launch in India? Cuz if it ain't gonna launch then ROG is still beast and preferable. Also looking for lenovo legion's review, heat test, performance test and battery drain test.👍❤️

well it wont heat up as much but, performance will not be the same, so I guess weigh in on what you're really after, do you want the most powerful chipset (though gets hot and eats up batt fast) or get a still pretty powerful SD 870 in the normal BS4, let me know what you decide on bro

By the way guys,i recommend u guys whose rocking ROG Phone 5 like me to turn on your steady charging mode,so your battery life will be extended and as the time goes you can still enjoy your phone until 2-3 years again without really worrying about your phone's battery health because the Hypercharge mode will heat up your phone and will decrease your battery health overtime,only use hypercharge when you're in a hurry and need your phone to be charged up asap

i dont understand why rog 5 is behind rog 3, what causes this 1. spilt battery system of rog 5 drains faster (but it helps to charge faster), 2. due to software related issue because both have 6000 mAh battery 🔋 with 144hz, AMOLED (ROG 5 with Samsung's even better display panel) , same dual stereo speakers (best in the android world) which is technically boosted in latest version and same android version 11. what could be reason any one explain your loyal subscriber E-Got Tech is love

This year 888 is built on Samsung's 5nm fabrication architecture. I think that's why the results are opposite. If it was built on tsmc's 5nm process then it would have great. Many experts say that.

It’s all personal preference, some aren’t getting the ROG 5 this year because of all the hardware problems on the ROG 2 and ROG 3, if I am buying the phone I would get the Redmagic, but that is my opinion
