You don’t know what an IV is? Intravenous injection of fluids, like you’d get at a hospital. In a medical sense it allows you to give someone a steady dose over a longer period of time. For fighters it allowed them to replenish quicker after being severely dehydrated and deprived of minerals from cutting weight. In every hospital you’ll see people hooked up to IVs and a bag of fluids.

As a physician, IV would be better. Also, cutting is just dangerous for your kidneys. I dont understand why nit jsit fight in your non cut weight class instead of s fake cut weight class. I have four narion Tae Kwon Do championship and we did not cut but it was also in israel befir swe moved to the US so its different. I dont compete anymore. So i take PED for safety snd stability. Nothing wrong with staying injured when you're old.

You will get weight bullied if you dont cut imagine fighting a skilled fighter who is taller and more muscular

It would require stricter rules around the fighters weight walking into the cage on fight day. Without rules, the fighters will never make the collective change to staying closer to their natural weight
