Jimmy is a different type of rookie. He doesn't feel like a rookie with his playstyle, he is incredibly smart and plays like he was years and years of experience in tier 1.

For me b1t is THE R.O.A.T. I remember example on Edward position, on short Mirage. Valerchik knew perfect by pixel spot where he can hide behind pillar to not be seen from 3 positions at once. He even was preferencing m4a4, because m4a1S is long af and enemy can see it from distance. It was an example on down site Nuke with Hunter on this major. He was spotted because of m4a1S long barrel and this costs G2 a round. For past 2-3 years b1t and ropz are my favorite players because of they raw mechanic skills and big brain management, and I hope to see more maps from b1t like this final inferno. broky is for sure my favorite rookie. he went from a supportive rifler to a superstar AWPer on FaZe in a year. Also, he's the only rookie to ever actually play long-term for FaZe, THE super team org. In a team full of veterans, he's never been less reliable in any way. As you said, you didn't really count him as a rookie after a few months.

My favorite is Donk just for the fact that he kept screaming on lan and people had to tell him to settle down.

watching NA 10 mans back in 14/15 and 16 to some extent was fun. These matches produced some of the absolute CLASSICS of CSGO such as "FGB whats your name" or "HE'S A MANAGERR" with the likes of "glawwwwks". Very vintage and refined CS moments tbh

h0bbit joining gambit in 2016 after he'd been bought from Tengri. the guy was playing in Ekibastuz of all places. A small town in Kazakhstan and he went on to win the 2017 majror inkrakow. I can't say that he was in his teens, but he definitely was a rookie.

I was getting HOT when the video kept progressing and b1t wasn't even mentioned yet lmao. Yes, Na'Vi it's in my heart (and on my skin actually), and he made me fall in love with the game even more, my Argentinian countrymen were the first ones to have that effect on me back in 2016 (IESF), then Na'Vi with s1mple, then B1t becoming such an unstoppable force so quickly. Also seeing him as the last piece of Na'Vi from the last Major and knowing how much of a sweet soul he is, it felt very endearing to see him reach that glory spot again, and which such a statement perfomance in the Final, he quickly tapped into his ultra instinct rookie form and made everyone take a knee.

Siuhy is my hipster pick. With all the spotlight on mechanically gifted and extremely high game aware individuals, I think it's easy to miss that he's been having success as a rookie IGL. And I don't really have anyone else in mind that really did that so fast in modern times.

I think not mentioning Brollan is criminal, the fact that he's been playing for so long yet he's only 21 is insane. I know he has always been pretty inconsistent (even though it seems like he's getting more consistent now with mouz) but I think he deserves to be mentioned still
