Get Luna another Panther to play with

Venza did a fantastic job helping raise Luna! Venza taught Luna to play carefully. Luna knows not to hurt Venza, because Venza is her family and Venza won’t play with her if Luna isn’t careful.

Realy incredible... if this would have been a real fight, Venza wouldn't have a face anymore, before she would be able to come to close. Front and rear paws are around her face, but Luna pulls back her claws...

That's not what happened. 80% of that cats strength is in her thighs. Those thighs push a leopard up a tree carrying prey that weighs as much or more than her own body weight. Those thighs propel her to make a 10 foot jump. When a cat flips onto her back and pulls out the rear claws her opponent is in trouble.

@@LunathepanteraI love that Venza has patience for Luna’s need to play & also reminds her of the hierarchy. 😁. My own cats did this. My Attie was about 15 when I brought 7-month-old Jax home. Atticus would humor Jax’s rambunctiousness to a point & then he’d apply firm, but not mean, correction. I looked over one morning & the kitten was on his back playfully swatting at his big brother with his front paws. Attie just sat in front of him, body language saying he was not interested in wrestling. Before I could think to intervene, my senior using only his head, dodged the paws & pinned his brother with a “bite” around the neck. He didn’t bite down or in anyway hurt Jax, but the kitten got the message - “That’s enough.” Lol Attie lived with various animals throughout his nearly 19 years & was never the aggressor. But he was a big guy & had a calm about him that diffused anything on the verge of becoming a fight. Gentle giants who teach their siblings hold a special place in my heart. That Venza still acts like such a puppy is also just so heart-warming.

Venza is very lucky Luna's nails are clipped and that she is very gentle. If not, it would be a very bad day for the Rotti! Luna would destroy Venza, if she was determined to do so.
