Router Plane Build

In this video I would like to show you how I build a router plane using oak wood. The blade is made of a 10mm Allen key (hex key).It has a fine adjustment feature for precise blade alignment.

A very nice build! Might I suggest a washer under the clamping nut? Even with oak, metal against wood is going to start to eat in as you repeatedly tighten the clamping nut. You should be able to inset a washer flat with the surface of the plane block.

Nice gob Is the L key is hard ?? You can get 12~18 mm chisel and use it.

Thanks! Yes, it has been hardened and tempered. Chisel is also good option ;)

Yes, it works. But If I was do it again I would buy a blade and make only the housing. I had an issue with hardening the blade made from the allen (hex) key - I repeted the hardening-temering process 3 times
