Roxen normally sounds AMAZING live. But remember, this is first of all a rehearsal - so they can adjust things that didn't work and do better next time. Second of all, it is a huge stage, Roxen is young and ambitious, she's representing her entire country so of course she is nervous. But imo what she can improve is first of all: To relax and believe in her great gift of a huge talent. Not to run on the stage so she loses her breath and it affects her vocals. Just listen to her preparty video she sounds incredible. She can do it. But haven't we all tried to "fail" at the first attempt, even at something we are really good at? I strongly believe in her! ❤️

Today rehearsals are so but so much better than yesterday! Very good Cyprus, epic Croatia, Israel on fire and now Romania... Others were good but not great, but there is 9 more days so they have time! Definitly one of the best semi finals ever!

I just watched an interview that the Romanian broadcaster did with her & her team, and besides her getting emotional, there were also sound issues because apparently the ESC team didn't fully adhere to the Romanian team's sound requirements. They said they're working closely with the Dutch team to fix the issue. Can't wait for the next rehearsal 😌

As a teenager also with anxiety I understand her struggle so well and I'm sad people are bashing her for not being able to control her live vocals... really, doing anything, like even going to freaking nearby store to buy food is almost impossible while you have panic attack or bad anxiety and just daring to stand on that stage is so respectable I couldn't imagine I would ever dare to do, she will overcome her anxiety and give hope, trust me! The lyrics, "I've lost myself trying to have it all" and "you're not alone" have also been incredibly relatable and hopeful for me during these dark times, so I've grown to have a personal connection to this wonderful piece of art. I'm so happy because this is exactly what I wanted her staging to look like! However, seeing it now I'm worried this performance will affect Roxen's vocal too much, this looks like quite a workout. I think it would be better to simplify the staging a bit, just to make sure she can sing to her full potential, because we know she can! Tip to Roxen: Just completely lose yourself in the song and interacting with the dancers, focus on your voice and even if you can't coordinate fully your moves, ditch them, be nervous... When she stands in one place she sounds perfect, even better than how she sounds in the studio version. I think that she walks too much, being pushed, carried, messed with by the dancers. It makes for good staging, but unfortunately she can't breathe properly. I think they should give up on some of the intense choreography and give roxen some time in the performance to stand in one place and sing.
