this is great and all, but he is still a poor choice for the cast if this game mostly plays around bilgewater and the shadow isles. why is he there when his home is the freljord? there are so many other bilgewater champions that would have made more sense for this game. if they needed a tank archetype, they could have chosen nautilus. and ahri and yasuo are really just in that game because they have a large fanbase in league and sell a lot of skins. story wise they should have used graves and tf or any other of the champions associated with bilgewater and the shadow isles that could have made good hero characters. yorick would have been a perfect fit for the cast or kalista. theyre way more interesting in this context with more personal stakes in fighting mordekaiser and the ruined king than the two weebs. lucian could have been a choice since fighting the legions of the dead is his whole thing. im not even convinced of pyke since hes not really a person anymore. hes just a mindless thing that runs around killing people and wouldnt have any reasonable motivation to fight the bad guys. he cares about nothing but working down his infinite kill list. how does something like that even work in a team with other people? (in league it works only because the game is disconnected from the lore which doesnt seem to be the case here). he could even have been cooler as a villain. all of the main cast seem to be chosen more by their popularity as league characters than that they would make sense in the setting of this story.
