When Gary left RM, I left RM too, and even till this day, I still don't come back to it. It's just not the same without him. To the new fans of Running Man, let me just tell you this : 1) When Gary was still a member, it was the Golden Era of Running Man and I will always call it that. If you don't believe me, then watch the old Running Man and you will see why. 2) This one is for the ARMYs because I saw a couple of Running Man videos got bombarded with ARMYs saying that how dare Running Man call themselves as "RM" when there is already an "RM" in BTS. To those people, I just wanna say, before Rap Monster changed to RM, people have been calling Running Man as "RM" first for ages, way longer before BTS became a hit. BTS even appeared on RM before and Rap Monster himself came on the show solo in one of the episodes and no one from both sides brought that up, it's just the fans who are fighting against each other. So let's just all chill down and accept it.

After his departure, I stop watching Running Man. It's not like I hate the current Running Man. It's just that a part of me left, and it was a big change. I remember crying when they aired his goodbye episode. I didn’t even watched RM for a while after he left (but glad I caught up). I am happy for him that he built his own little family and found happiness. In imo, he will highly not guest in RM anymore due to the fact that his image in RM is associated with MC. And there are still delulu MC shippers out there who are commenting on his IG to comeback to Jihyo. Like seriously? It is okay to reminisce the MC memories, but please don’t cross the line. Respect the reality of the situation that Gary is already married and has a child and Jihyo is also happy with her life right now.

U guys have to remember that now the cast are all aged , can’t expect them to be all crazy like how they used to . Because that’s what we all used to like , them being all crazy , running around without giving any shit about their health to entertain us . One by One, Members are become a full of sadness Lizzy, Joong-ki, Gary, Kwang-soo and now, Jeon So-min is departing RM after 6 long years (and she endured a lot of everything😢😢).... But when i see Gary's story (also reason) of his departure in Running Man I understood him... and as felt such his really final aired in EP 336 (in RM's Members Week), he wanted a very good chapter of his life and start his new life and then Jae-suk announced to the members including Se-chan and So-min about Gary is getting married in EP 348 (even the same post in same month of April 2017) and cut temporary the communication with the PDs, staff and even Members and new Members (except Haha) and then suddenly in social media they starting hating Se-chan and So-min (even they starting the new chapter in Running Man) at first and I don't know why those people in social media for their constructive criticism towards members and new members 😢😢😢. However, despite the slumber, Running Man achieve the achievements time to time are gaining after Gary's departure and fascinating Gary's parting gift, the two new members are now achieve from what we are now until So-min's departure (Recording in October 30,2023 aired in November 12, 2023) after 6 long years despite So-min's departure, Running Man achievements are continuing soaring. Meanwhile (back to the topic), We now Understood for why Gary is leaving, he wanted a free life from RM and focusing his new life outside and rest from his massive injuries physically and mentally and even his marriage (only marriage paper) are doing well and his son are grown well healthily and well mannered and I hope Ha-oh is grown very well and we wish to Gary a God bless and Godspeed to his family and respect (and one day, we pray they will Reunion with RM members including Se-chan and So-min by God's grace 🙏)... Lastly, we like to thank So-min for her beautiful journey in Running Man and keep her continuing her future endeavors ❤❤ Now, it's time to matured ourselves, the members are old and tired but they keep their faith of what meaning of Family and a long journey but we hope will be reunited and it was looking for, for the future 🙏🙏. Gary's departure is definitely one of if not the saddest moment in running man. I felt like running man lost something important after gary left. To be truthful I've stopped watching running man religiously after he left. Don't get me wrong the new members so min and se chan have their own charm but you know after 300+ episodes watching him, it's very hard not to see him anymore.

Oh my gosh 🥺 this makes me remember how sad I was when I knew Gary's leaving RM. Everytime I rewatch episodes where all 7 of them work as a team, like that episode where Jaesuk stopped at 7 jumps during his jumping rope challenge - I get teary-eyed as a fan. Somin and Sechan are great addition to the members, no doubt about that. But I can't help but miss the original 7 with Gary. And of course, Monday Couple moments 😭💕 I wish Gary will guest soon. To those of us who watched RM from ep1, it was really heartbreaking to know of his departure. This episode and the next were the hardest for me especially. Cos we're used to seeing all of them together. But seeing how well Gary is doing now, how he left to focus on his career and wellbeing, also the adorableness of Haoh, I think he is at the right path. As a fan, I'm happy to see him now. His departure also made an impact on how RM producers afterwards design the show. RM is still funny today and will always be funny and I hope SBS will focus more on the wellbeing of team members and staff too.
