For the second year in a row, the world's attention has been focused on the war in Ukraine. It is horrified by what the occupiers are doing and pays tribute to the heroism of our military. Many Western politicians, opinion leaders, and scholars have realized that they have completely misunderstood modern Russia, hoping for dialogue and appeasement of the aggressor. The need for a new, short and clear definition for the ideology and practices of the Moscow regime, which led to the largest war of our time, arose by itself. Some people compare it to Mussolini's fascism, some to Hitler's Nazism, some to the communism of Lenin and Stalin. But a new term has emerged to explain Putin's policy: rashism.
