When you go deep in the meaning of the word "Gnosis", fitting it's elusive meaning with those of the other concepts related to it (pertaining the mind, perception, Logos, unity, wholeness, and from there to Taoist "eternal here & now") - then this video becomes a portrait of this eternal process, as captured in sentence by the philosophers: Gnosis. From the abstract, as in nature and organic structures, to the human in our conscious lives' "theatrical play"; the scenes are so strong... Moments of redemption, surrender, encounters all the while - who can explain the intricate process of change occurring in one's psyche/self? ...this video did it for me. Oddly enough, as seeing as it is an elusive one, fluid, as waves or a lightning-bolt, this "thing" can only be recalled; the actual understanding comes only through the experiencing of it, which I can only get, as in the form of a lesson, by watching this video. With sound, necessarily. To have been able to create art to depict such a universal process; music to express to the mind something so abstract, and to have the sounds (raw emotional power) convey that experience... That's a fucking deep love of music right there. Thank you, it greatly enhances my (and many other's, too) life.

I would keep rewatching this over and over. I listened to this song with headphones on while being on a mountain admiring the landscape, while staring at a starry sky, while watching rain falling or while a thunderstorm goes crazy. All these epics guitar riffs, all these deep and growling bass lines and all these increasing-energy drums make vocals definitely unneeded in terms of finding strong emotions. It's just like darkness and introspection become something necessary to live, and the atmospheres revealed by this visual suit awesomely! I began to listen to Russian Circles years ago and I still think it was one of the best discoveries ever made in life. I will wait for them to come in Italy again!
