Russians are continuing their attempts to capture Avdiivka in Donetsk region. The Ukrainian military say that recently "the escalation has been felt" in this area. The Russians are trying to surround the city after a year of unsuccessful attempts to break through the Ukrainian defense.
Gunners of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade are helping the infantry to repel these attacks.
At the beginning of February of 2023, hromadske filmed the unit that now uses the RM-70 Vampire multiple rocket launcher system, the Czechoslovakian analog of Soviet-made Grads. Gunners of the Brigade received this MLRS system as part of the help from Western allies.
