Seth Kenney said that Sarah said that she (Hannah) was a VERY GOOD armorer. She got a 'Thanks For The Great Job" letter from Joel after a heavy duty shoot out scene takes. Seth sold Rust 3000 rounds of ammo and they probably went through half of it and nobody needed a bandaid. She was hired by 6 producers she has finished The Old Way production where nobody got blown away or required stitches or a brain transplant. That's saying something to someone.

She had so many opportunities to do her job and confirm the rounds were dummies, but I’m not totally convinced one of the suppliers didn’t introduce those into her stock. When you produce and supply live ammo, blanks, and dummies together and your place of business is a pig sty, it’s a recipe for disaster. Multiple people should likely be doing time. She should be counting her blessings she only got 18 months.

@@leonaleone598 I agree, Hannah was found guilty and ultimately convicted, but 18 months? Please! That being said, Alec is even more culpable. He was in charge, and he was running around acting like a damn fool, yelling at Hannah to hurry up. He was the last person responsible for making sure the gun was safe. First rule; you never point a gun at someone and pull the trigger, not even if you believe it’s empty. Even blanks can cause serious injury, and all actors know not to do it. I come from a family of hunters and I knew that rule when I was ten. There is no excuse for the amount of immaturity on display that day. Hannah will serve her time for her role in it, but a lot of heads should roll next, starting with Alec.

I work in film. This was the armourer’s fault. No one else is allowed to even test the guns and that’s why armourers exist. When the gun is taken to set even for rehearsal, it is given to the props person by the armourer, then handed to the actors or director with the caveat that it’s been checked. I know people really detest Alec Baldwin and want him to be found guilty but this armourer is responsible for Halyna Hutchins death, and should have been given a much longer sentence

Nobody was charged or convicted in the death of Brandon Lee, same exact situation. Because it was an accident. Police aren’t charged with homicide in “accidental” death cases, beatings, shootings, hell I saw video of a cop run a person over the other day as she was responding to his 911 call after he was shot. Police didn’t even report that she ran him over to anyone including EMTs until his autopsy results were released and it was the cause of death. Only then oops admit it and come clean, oh yeah we forgot to mention it. Was she at least fired? Nope!

This was a tragic accident and big mistake, but, I don't understand what the rest of the crew is supposed to do? Just like if someone dies in your family, you grieve and go on.
