For £549 the rog ally is ok, slightly cheaper than the steam deck oled 1tb (£579), and used you can get it for £390 for 512gb or £450 for 2tb on ebay. I bought mine on ebay and it is pretty good, honestly I'm suprised how cheap the rog ally is.

Zen 5 handhelds are gonna be insane. I'm 100% getting one, whether its a Z2 Extreme or a 9840u

For the price of the things... I'll pass. But it's great people can game on the go.

here me out ^^ what if ARM? So Microsoft build it's new WOW64 for the new Surfaces on Snapdragon X to run x86 code without big losses. Could something like this be used also on weaker ARM Chips like the Snapdragon G3x gen2 (those names...) found in the new "Ayaneo Pocket S" to run Windows Games? They probably dont have the oomp for 1080P but how about doing proper 720P/30 in a light and small formfactor? Could Valve even port Proton to ARM so we could have Steam OS on a device like the Ayaneo Pocket S"?

Yeah handhelds still have a way to go.

It is hard to understand just how these PC handheld devices and Tesla cars are always in the limelight. They are pure garbage.

Just get a laptop and a controller! These devices literally make no sense to me. They're too big to be actually portable and they're performance is way worse than a laptop on top of way less usability. People are so sheep like! JUST GET A LAPTOP!
