For the ones who forgot it or didn´t know: Strider is an ex-monolith, who fought alongside Degtyarev and helped you to get inside Prypjat in Call of Prypjat.

I’m so glad that they’re bringing back Strider. I hope they also bring back Cardan and Nitro. In the “good ending” of Call of Pripyat, Strider seeks out and gathers other ex-Monolith guys like himself and Cardan & Nitro reunite. I hope that’s the case in this game.

I have countless hours on all the stalkers especially SoC and I played so many mods. I was devastated twice when stalker 2 was canceled then brought back just to be canceled again or maybe it was just a rumor. Now after 10+ years of waiting we're finally close to the release.

It's always good to see the Monolith side of the Zone having a story, it definitely was compelling to see Strider back in Call of Chernobyl now he is back with a complete voice, colored eyes, and no more remnance of "Monolith" but what he could remember. I didn't even recognize Strider till I finished the trailer.

A Stalker game from the perspective of the monolith faction would be so freaking dope...

In the good ending of Call of Pripyat Strider (ex-Monolith guy from Jupiter) headed to the Centre of the Zone with a heavily equipped troop, so this line is being continued just in front of our eyes. This is in this trailer. Thank you, GSC, that you care for your fans!

I think Monolith is one of the most interesting things in S.T.A.L.K.E.R that is never fully explained. Super excited to see more Monolith in S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2.

For those who don't know, Strider was a Monolith fighter who was recruited by Major Alexandre Degtyarev in Stalker Call of Priyat. I'm so fucking glad to see him because he goes ghost after you get into Pripyat.

I remember ditching school to play Shadow of Chernobyl back in 2007. I spent that whole day, and night and early morning playing, I ditched the next day too. Here we are almost 17 years later and I have a strange feeling of the encroachment of time and a feeling of nostalgia. I can't wait to get lost in the zone again.

The detail level of the facial animations/mocap... I've never seen something this good in a game before. Feels like being in 2004 and watching Half-Life 2 trailers.

The story and lore is about to take over my mind like the monolith lol.

i hope that the mechanics are the same as the first. Love how very play through was different. Like an object you retrieved from a character you had to kill the first time, would be dead and the object taken by someone else but to no clue who by. You had to figure it out on your own. Loved it

Honestly, it would be cool if we would get more of some open world gameplay footage. This trailer feels more like a spoiler than anything and I think we now have seen enough cutscenes of the game for now.

Люди уже пизданулись и гонят на сталкер просто, чтобы гнать. В проект вполне верится. Сталкер и в свое время был кривеньким, порой душным, с хуевой постановкой но решала атмосфера. Удивительно, что они вообще постарались в постановку сложную сцен, могли сделать как Тодд в старфилде/в духе старых сталкачей где болванчики просто стоят и говорят и потом криво перестреливаются или дальше стоят. Просто все так пишут будто у нас прям все заебись в геймдеве, за все годы вышел только атомик про который не стыдно писать(и который был запилен ещё до санкционных времен где помогали майки, нвидиа и давали бабки) и Тарков за годы стал вполне норм, тот же скандальный the days before дико обосрался, от смуты неясно что ждать. Но в целом понятно, что большая часть хейта связана просто с выпилом русского и позициией разрабов, но ребят а вы что хотели? Как дети чес слово, прям каждый раз орёте когда эту тему затрагивают, у них там вообще погибшие есть сотрудники, родственники. Очевидно же их отношение, большие удивляет инфантильная реакция ру аудитории которая хочет окуклиться и ничего не слышать. В принципе ожидать проект никто не заставляет и покупать тоже.

I sense none of the atmosphere that made the original game so memorable. If I didn't know better, I'd confuse this for a new Call of Duty trailer.

Okay, this just got me so much more hyped for the release. I don't give half a crap how many times the release date will be pushed back, you guys take all the time you need to deliver, I'm completely sold on this game. I've also prepurchased the full retail collection, so I guess that helps waiting too. Can't wait to see more stories from the Zone!

I LIVED these games when I was younger. I've explored every corner of every map, including almost every significant overhaul mod out there. I am EXTREMELY excited for the release of this game. I must say, I was immediately caught off guard when Strider spoke and it was obviously an American English voice. I really hope that the game Dev's will keep true to the spirit of this game and leave the Slavic accents! Half of the atmosphere of playing the original games was the feeling that you were there...in/around Chernobyl!

Im hyped but if the team needs more time to make the game please delay as long as the game needs, a lot of us dont care to wait more for a more polished game (I actually need to save more money for the ultimate physical edition, i never preorder games but i really love this franchise a fucking lot)

Ждём! Мне уже 31 и эта игра по прежнему самая ожидаемая мною, команде терпения и сил в завершении этого культового проэкта. Помню как в далеком 2007 году скупал все журналы видеоигр в попытке добыть хоть какую то информацию о игре перед релизом. Сталкер это про атмосферность.

For Strider in CoP, if he is alive, you will get this line "A new group appeared in the Zone. They are well-trained, but their objectives are not known. Rumors say that they used to be Monolith fighters. Their leader is known as Strider." So this is canon - for STALKER 2

Stalker shadow of Chernobyl is the first game that i bought for my pc and still the best game that i played . Love every second of it . Guys keep upthe good work. And thank you for making stalker 2

По крайней мере, мы теперь точно знаем, что Бродяга жив по канону, а не загнулся в Путепроводе, или в Припяти. Кстати, мы не можем знать, выжили по канону Вано, Зулус, Соколов, или нет (да, скорее всего, они выжили, чисто интуиитивно), так как продолжения в лице S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 пока нет. Если не поняли, то поясню: когда, в 2007-м году, ещё *не* вышли официальные аддоны к игре («Чистое Небо» и «Зов Припяти»), все концовки «Тень Чернобыля» являлись истинными, потому как каноничного продолжения у нас не было. То есть, если бы, в 2009-м году, с выходом «Зов Припяти» там бы проскользнула информация, что некий Меченый сталкер умер в Лаборатории x16, то это означало бы, что, по канону, в оригинальной игре, мы должны были умереть во время прохождения квеста на поиск первых секретных документов от Сидоровича, ещё до встречи с Барменом. А так как мы, в сиквеле, встречаем Стрелка (Меченого), значит, все наши смерти отпадают, по каноничности, те *5* концовок с Исполнителем Желаний тоже (позже назвавшиеся, вследствие этого, «ложными») и остаются *2* «истинные» концовки. В одной из них Стрелок примыкает к группировке «О-Сознание», а во второй её уничтожает, а поскольку в «Зов Припяти» Стрелок не является членом группировки «О-Сознание» (да и от членов группировки «Монолит» можно услышать то, что они опечалены «уходом» Монолита), то каноничной концовкой в оригинальной игре считается та, в которой мы отказываемся примыкать к «О-Сознание» и уничтожаем их, с боем прорываясь через ЧАЭС-2. Так вот, так как официального продолжения к «Зов Припяти», в лице S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, ещё нет, мы, в теории, можем полагать, что, по канону, Дегтярёв, во время путешествия в Припять через Путепровод «Припять-1» потерял Вано (он умер), либо же вообще не взял того в команду. Почему бы и нет? Кстати, именно по этой причине, в приквеле «Чистое Небо» мы не можем закончить игру, кроме как через одну концовку, поскольку, если бы там существовала другая, например, где Наёмник Шрам убил Стрелка, то игрок бы сразу догадался, что эта концовка неканонична, поскольку он уже, на момент прохождения аддона в 2008-м году, знал, что события «Тень Чернобыля», официально, произошли (по нашему времени) и произойдут (по времени вселенной S.T.A.L.K.E.R.), что, собственно, противоречит принципу видеоигры с открытым миром и свободой действий. So much nostalgia behind this trailer and character now I'm even more hyped. There's only one issue in the trailer the rest is 10/10. "Psi fields" isn't pronounced as "psee" but rather as "pseye/seye".

I love that we get more lore for the Stalker universe... but will we be able to join certain factions? I hope so, considering there are a few new factions being introduced. Also, I'll be playing with the ukranian voices but english subtitles. It seems to fit more then hearing these American voices.
