I grew up watching Bruce Grobbelaar and he was one of my early footballing heroes. Very entertaining as a player and as a character when we we told about his previous life in Southern Africa. I have North African roots (Morocco) and its nice for me to see our brothers from Southern Africa appreciate players like Mohamed Salah and to call him 'an African hero'. Warms my heart actually. My admiration and respect for Mohammad Salah just keep on increasing every day. Superb player, superb human being. He has such a warm heart and he is so down to earth. Bless his soul. But, I am equally respectful of the gentleman who is blind, and whom Salah went to meet. Despite his physical handicap, he is full of life and enjoying it. I wish him a lot of happiness.

Mohamed Salah faced many difficulties in his life also from a small village and almost non-existent material conditions. He worked on himself a lot to become like this, and he never reached Europe easily, so he feels a lot about the conditions of others. I love his story very much. It is a motivator to continue in this life.

He is an absolute gem. One of Liverpool's best signings ever, and that's saying something considering we had Mane, and Firmino in their prime. Individually he has been the best, he's got everything . The other two are truly world-class, on and off the pitch, but Mo has that midas touch. This is such a great initiative and I hope they have a safe ride - inspiring stuff from all involved. Many Dutch football fans, are fan of Liverpool FC. Because the kind of magic is song every match. You never walk alone. That is the magic what Liverpool inhabitants, supporters, players and staff makes it in to reality! In the late ´70 I visited an FA final and a home match of Liverpool. I still cherish the ticket and program book.
