You can change the brightness in night mode. Just scroll up or down.

I think it needs a little light to work properly. I'm pretty sure it's to help brighten photos when there's low light

the a51 original, non 5g version have never had 1080p 60fps... i have owned the phone since it was released and i have only been able to do 30 fps at max... you must have had the 5g version.....

@@flootynator No I definitely didn’t have the 5g version because I got the Straight Talk version which that’s the only one that they sell, the plain ole 4gig ram 4g model. I did have the regular a50 for a good few months before the a51 and maybe that one had 1080p60 and could’ve confused me after going to the a51. Anyway I just got an iphone 11 which does beautiful 4k60/1080p60 so I’m alright now. Although I got a harddd screen quality downgrade forsure, going from an Amoled 1080p screen to an IPS screen that’s not even 1080p. I didn’t even know that when I bought it😪 I knew the X and XS models before had Oled screens that were over 1080p so I just assumed it’d be the same or better, but noooope. Luckily it’s the liquid retina IPS screen so it doesn’t look bad at all, just not near as good as the a51 screen.

@@deadboy3646 you are degrading everything including the camera by changing to a fucking iPhone idiot. The iPhone has max 4k video samsung now has 8k. You can take pictures at maximum of 12MP while your phone the a51 can take both 48MP and 12MP. Video fps doesn't make a big difference. Also android is better than iPhone at everything other than the fact that stupid people buy it cuz they get viruses on their android cuz they search for download more ram free. I don't understand why people keep degrading, not upgrading to an iPhone. Don't come and try to say your iPhone 11 is better as it definitely isn't. Battery. Wow think your battery now lasts about 16 hours. An iPhone 11 has max an hour of battery time. And it breaks quite easily as well, not to say the design is so fucing bad. Is that the reason I get black bars on the sides of the A51 video? I tried changing the settings but nothing seems to work. The FHD [1:1] is the widest video (has smaller bars on the left and right sides). Is there a way that I can take a video with a51 without getting those bars? 😭

@@sameersamadi789 Oh dude idk. I got tired of that a51 and switched to to an iPhone 11 pro around December last year. The cameras and video are such an upgrade it’s not even a competition. The only area where I kinda downgraded is the screen on the a51 was more high quality and colors popped more. But taking pics and videos is on another level with iphone right now, not only can you record 4k60 instead of 4k30 on the a51, but it has “super stabilization” so videos come out super smooth, I remember on my a51 the 4k30 looked great but it was always a bit shakey and the videos would bounce up and down and shake as you walk. You can find the iphone 11 used for around 200 bucks right now, for taking pics and recording I recommend it without a doubt. But if you’d truly just rather the galaxy over an iphone, upgrade to an a53. They did really good on upgrading everything from the a51 and a52 especially the cams. If you ask me though over that, just get a used galaxy s20 ultra. That would be the best camera you’ve ever used.

@忍 some phones can record in 8k 60fps constantly until the battery or storage runs out and you can also set a recording limit on them. Iphones are still worse than android phones...

You are correct bro. I spend my $315 on this phone and I'm not getting quality photos. I decided to download Inware app from Google play store and it is telling me that my phone has 12MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. I'm so much disappointed in Samsung. My previous Samsung galaxy S5 camera is better than this A51 camera.

@@Qwty163 I've taken some really good pics but its rare to get really good ones. I've done different settings and even many recommended ones and its still iffy. My target and myself have to absolutely still and have really good lighting. On videos oh no no. They are super grainy and unfocused at night with the light/flash regardless of settings.

The A51 has 2K recording. UHD is 2K quality. If 4K is available on any phone, it will be displayed as 4K only. That was an error in the video.

Choose the vdeo u want to edit, select the edit button...below the screen you'll find some options, swipe left and the last one will be audio! You'll get two options one of which will be, vdeo sound..all you need to do is decrease the volume to 0 andd you're done...😊

You click on "camera", then select "photo", then click on the little "editing wand: in upper right hand corner, select "face" then a little face appears at the bottom of the screen (if it says off, click it on) then the the first option (a drop looking thing) is smoothness. Anyway, if you turn the little face off, the beauty mode will be gone.

Top of the screen shows the options. Press format (3:4[48mp], 3:4, 9:16, 1:1, full).

Same my slo mo sucks it doesn't fully film the video in slo mo and the focus is off at times

To select multiple images to share, you can use the stock gallery app, and select then click share and choose the platform to share too. God bless you too.
