Samsung Galaxy A54 & A34 Battery Drain Test

Рік томуHey Folks, this is Samsung Galaxy A54 & A34 Battery Drain test. Both these phones came out very recently. The A54 is powered by Exynos 1380 and A34 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. In this battery drain test, I have run multiple heavy-duty games on both phones. I have also used social media applications. The media consumption apps were used for over an hour as well. This is the most in-depth Galaxy A54 and A34 battery drain test that you will come across. In some drainage videos i saw the phone was going on for 12hrs but i was scared that my phone is draining fast as in 6and a half hours my phone got to 20% . But this video showed me the truth .😅😅😅😅😅. And those people out there who are thinking their phone is draining fast - 1% is for like 5to 6 minutes and depends on the app .

I believe there is something wrong with my a54, all tests I watch show a great battery duration, but mine appears to be draining too fast. Nice video!

@@cedric24x yes mine too. That too with power saving mode on. Without power saving mode on it's about 1% every 4 mins. What should I do?

@@cedric24x Well it's normal. For 10% you get 60min. That's how phones get 7-8.SOT.

as far as I know, this phone takes a few days to understand your usage pattern, then it optimizes accordingly and gives you a better battery life. So for the first few days after buying the phone, you will not get that great battery backup.

Well adaptive refresh in the a54 saved above 10% of battery, being not 120hz all the time is really save the battery life. even though a54 is cost 80$ more but i still prefer it but unfortunately exynos ruined me to go for a34 instead 😭I would say no to any phone that use exshitnos

At best, you'll get 10 maybe 10-15 min more screen-on time with the A54. If battery life is really that important, why not just set the display to 60 Hz? Truth be told the Mediatek D1080 on A34 is actually tiny bit more efficient than E1380 on A54 with equivalent performance but with a notch. Even the screen-to-body ratio on the A34 is a respectable 2% higher at 85% compared to 6.4" on the A54.

Imo you should put both phone on 60 hz. So it would be fair to compare.coz a54 supports adaptive hz while a34 doesn't

@@frankreynolds9930 1. It's my choice 2. It's to save battery 3. I only use 120hz for gaming (and sometimes streaming). 4. 60hz is enough for me most of the time, supporting no 3's point.

Samsung willingly did not optimize a34 properly . Same chip on realme 10 pro plus performance and battery andurance is far better than a34

Hello. If I want an everyday phone for taking great photos of my holiday (once a year) or everyday stuff, a long battery life, a processor which performs admirably above average (Exynos Vs Mediatek), loud speakers that I can hear my wife/boss ringing me in London public transport would a Galaxy A34 suffice than an A54? Or getting the supposed "better specced" phone be better?

@@TechNomadUK1 You can still get less saturated photos by turning off scene optimizer in settings. . A54 has better bigger camera sensor so better choice for camera, especially night.

After this video i can be a little be more confortable with my Galaxy A54, but having in account that when i charge my phone it reachs the 100%, then i go to sleep and the next day it has either 95% or 93% aprox i gotta find a solution

Because a54 is adaptive refreshrate, it can go between 60hz to 120hz instead of 120hz all the time on a34 ,that's why

The A34 has dimensity 1080 while the A54 has exynos 1380 The 6.6 screen might be the real difference Despite being only a 0.2 inches difference, actual area % of the display willl be larger than the 0.2 suggests Leading to greater battery consumption on the same battery size

I don't think the Exynos 1380 is more efficient/better optimised than the Dimensity 1080. The A34 and A54 both have the same size battery and the only reason the A34 lost is because that same sized battery has to power a larger 6.6" screen. Impressive results nonetheless.

6.6 inch is 3% bigger than 6.4 . a54 ended with 9% more than a34. 1380 is 6% more efficient than 1080 by your logic then ;)

Don't think the pubg test was really fair, a34 had more to render, a54 was just humping a rock, not rendering very much because view blocked by big rock. Next time go to playground or something let them look at same view.

your network signal strength. in my area, 5g drops very fast vs 3g/4g. in other areas its the same. bad signal from tower = horrible battery.
