well the touch screen doesn't work in the water. so you have to use volume button to take picture in the water.
the phone's still working great though

The galaxy a7 2017 is not water resistant. Samsung has failed. My phone is dead now

@@aparditya i don't know bro, i bought it from Indonesia in 2017. But I'm from srilanka. So yesterday i took 2 photos from it in a pool..... It was only like 7 seconds in the water. And it died immediately after that

I'm really sorry to hear that. Well you can ask the samsung service center or local repair shop to fix it and then sell it. It might had defect when you bought it or maybe you accidentally bought the refurbished phone.

@@apardityaum..... No the box was fully sealed, so i don't think it's a refurbished one. Yeah I'll try asking help from Samsung. Thanks bruh

Well, i guess every phone that has waterproof feature are similar. They got the similar test for IP rating and both runs great. But, I do admire the sony's camera though. They create the best smartphone camera.

@@aparditya Yes but for the waterproof are not similar. Sony has Ip 68 it is perfect. Works even under water.

@@kujtimzymeri3358 but this phone works underwater too. both phone has IP68 rating. it's just the touchscreen that won't work underwater. everything works fine until today.
