These Samsung mid rangers are excellent in my opinion. Most people don't need a flagship when these phones are so good

I'm glad it's got a plastic back, it blows my mind that people want glass backs, that are so fragile but they want it for the premium look and feel then hide it behind a case. It's madness and so backwards it makes me want to lash people across the chops

I really love how this midrange market is evolving. I do not see myself buying a flagship when I have to upgrade. Waiting for the pixel 4a to be released but this a71 is a top contender for me.

I purchased the Samsung A51 few weeks ago. Great phone that gets the job done, very fast have seen no difference from switching from the galaxy s9. The plastic back honestly is not an issue for me and like you said, the phone feels strong and sturdy. Great phone and it doesn't have that 999.99 price tag. Thanks for the upload.

The A71 does have some water resistance, dropped mines in the bath and all that happened was the speaker got clogged but you just stick it in rice and its fine. The no IP rating does not mean it isnt resistant.

I've been using the Galaxy A71 for a few days day and honestly? Well good news as I've been going over the main most important things that to me are important in a phone which are: 1 x Battery life will get you through the day with middle to heavy use with an easy 20-50% battery left from 8.00am - 11.00pm 2 x both the ear piece and loud speakers are very good (great call quality) 3 x the signal strength is very good as is the WiFi along with fast down and upload speeds 4 x the screen is of excellent quality being clear and very very bright 5 x the cameras are also very good taking really good photos and very clear stable video recording 6 x the phone is also surprisingly light in the hand so it's not heavy at all 7 x both the finger print reader and face unlock are fairly quick (not OnePlus speeds but around 1 second) 8 x the processor in this phone along with 6gb ram is super quick (the fastest mid range phone I've ever used) 9 x value for money I'm happy to recommend this phone to anyone because at a 3rd of the cost of most flag ship phones it's a no brainer 100%

Great video! Was waiting for the camera comparison though! From everything else I'm reading, that's the only category where the A51 actually takes the cake over the A71, so it would've been nice to see the real world (or lack thereof) difference!

My mom just bought this after our cat peed on her old J3 lmaoooo. She’s a bit overwhelmed with all the features but she’s adjusting better than expected. She’s loving Netflix on a big screen and the battery not needing charge every 4 hours hah

I bought my brand new A71 just 2 days ago and I really like it. It's the best mobile with awesome features and specifications just for 399€.

I currently have the Samsung s8 and I have had it for two years now. I was considering getting the iPhone SE 2020 because I do have quite small hands and I can just about manage with the s8. I was going to maybe consider the A71 until I saw how big in comparison it is to the s8. I mean if I do end up getting a more midrange phone I know I will be able to tell the differences but I do believe that Samsung has upped their game when it comes to midrange phones recently. This video was really helpful :)

recently had to recommend a friend a new phone, and boiled down to A51 and A71, the 25W charging was the deal maker. its the SINGLE MOST feature I found handy in newer phones. saved me A LOT of trouble! the rest of the A71 benefits were icing on the cake ^_^

I have been using this phone from february 2020 and it has been such a pleasure..This is a perfect phone for students.

Ive been using my A70 (the predecessor to this phone) for a year now and it still holds up perfectly fine. What I love about Samsungs A-line of phones, is how they still have dual sim, sd card slot and a headphone jack (on top of their specs).

A51 is a budget phone But I can't still afford it

Your video is much appreciated as I have been a Note user for some yeatrs however cannot justify the Note 20 Ultra at $1300 and with a lack of anything outside of expandable storage and the S pen (which I have come to find is the hardest thing to give up), the comparisons are very much in favor of the A71. I have also seen speed and camera comparison videos between the Note 20 Ultra and the A71, and the camera is better in the Note, which is another sticking point. So...higher end feel in hand experience, better camera and the S Pen are why I am still struggling with the decision. But to even HAVE a decision to struggle with a great thing. I could use my debit card and get the A71 today and go on with my life having a great phone with excellent camera and expandable storage and 5G, learn to live without the stylus and enjoy the lack of $60/mo lease payment from T mobile on my bill every month for two years. I also hear the camera bump out on the Note 20 Ultra is substantial, does not utilize the latest Gorilla glass and the screen, nd is not protected with a case, therefore the slightly better camera might be wiped out with a drop over the two years of payments and rendered useless while the A71 users are still taking pictures. If the A71 had a stylus this would be a no brainer, but Samsung business development executives aren't short sighted and that phone is for a demographic of those who appreciate flagship phones, high end materials though covered with a case, slightly better camera and of course signing documents with the stylus on the run as I have become accustomed to. However in their advanced demographic insight they have developed the A71 just for me...if I can give up on the stylus! lol. Thank you again for the vid and I appreciate the scope of comparisons with other mid range phones as I add my own take with the Note 20 Ultra.

Great Review really honest I can say and direct to the point in all the aspects (thanks so much), I have a Xiaomi mi 8 with a Great processor snapdragon 845 but my biggest issue it's the battery life and also reach up the top updating as android 10 now... I'm just a regular user and I'm looking for good battery life and nice screen as the one I have now (I'm not longer a gamer) and I think this still the best option for this year, it have the right price for what it offers

very easy to listen to review, concise and spot on with information, subbed ✌️I bought a new A71 a few months ago to use with my S9+ & S5e TAB and it's really cool EXCEPT the single speaker. Personally I would have paid a tad more than NZ$ 799 PLUS a free Samsung battery pack to have that stereo speaker and there's a decided difference on Duo calls and phone calls and when music is your passion and you don't always want to use headphones I feel that the mono speaker is a huge let down (for me) I just feel that Samsung have really pushed the boat out with this with features but like I say I'd have definitely have paid a tad more for that extra speaker. I'm often reverting to my S9+ for Duo and music and am "considering" selling it in favour of a phone with stereo speakers. My Samsung S5e 10.5" Tablet has QUAD speakers and was $950 and that's with LTE phone function too so to put mono on the A71 is the Achilles Heel "for me" ~ I am however a Samsung Die Hard Fan and LOVE the larger screen and the camera and colours are AMAZING plus it's Dual Sim AND NZ$ 1000 Cheaper than my S9+ ✌️ Go Figure 🙃 Sunday Greets from Middle Earth 🌎

im so glad they made this phone, my last phone was a galaxy note 8 which i loved, after an accident and having to buy a new phone this was a much better alternative to the pricier flagships of 2020

I've had mine for just over a month now and have no regrets. Big screen, long batt life, runs smoove and fast and great camera. Oh the super fast charging is siiiiiiiiick :)

I currently have an OKITEL brick phone and being clumsy, dropping my phone quite often, and weather proofing is Outstanding, however, the camera on the Okitel SUCKS so bad, I can't even photograph a check to do a "Mobile Deposit". Time for a New SAMSUNG. I guess I will have to find a G-Force case for it.

I really wish to have a71 smartphone. What I like the most its hardware especially snapdragon 730. It can stands heavy games app.

Got my A71 5G a few days ago. I have to say I am super impressed. I don't think I would be very aware of the differences unless I was looking at them side by side. With a 6.7" screen, honestly how much difference can be seen?This is not an 85" 4K TV after all. The only things I would have liked to get are wireless charging and water proofing. But I've never had wireless charging so I don't miss it, and I'm very careful around water anyway. Happy so far with the phone and especially the price. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Well i used s6 for years and just got A71, its like going from a rowing boat to a speed boat. Amazing phone.

I have just ordered my A71 hope the camera is as good as people make it out to be. If so I will be more than chuffed.

I bought A71 week ago and it looks awesome, for now all is perfect, only thing is that is not waterproof so I'm bit worried, however I took some pics by waterfalls, ended up being all wet, but no damage or anything like that.

I got one! $386.00 out the door. Or delivered 😄 8gb ram, snap dragon, gorilla glass, nfc (samsung pay, google pay, etc.) included. A little smaller compared to note 20 ultra but costs $1,030.00 less. A buddy of mine called it a poor man's Note 20 ultra. One thing is sure, I'm a $1K richer for buying this phone instead. 😄

I just wish Samsung add a water protection rating for this one... its been along time since the A series phones have a IP rating from A6.
