I would like to see 4K-60 in the A74 tbh. I'd also like to see headphone jack, charger in the box along with headphones because that would simply be so useful! I think Samsung needs to step their game up as well/invest some more time into their video quality since not that many people use Samsung for videos honestly speaking.

I am currently using an A70 and A71. I agree with the list, except for the charger. For the market and price bracket I would like to see a few more changes. As this is the 4th gen, I think the consumer is not getting its value with this phone. 1. Wireless charging. For this price bracket I'm missing at least 15-29 Watt wireless charging. It's 5 generations overdue. I've used wireless charging for years, but don't think ot belongs to flagships only. The technology in smartphone terms is old and ubiquitous. It has its advanges in everday use and in the car, despite its lower charging efficiency. I to this day cannot understand why its not part of the Samsu g A series phones. It shouldn't even be that expensive with tooling or even space in the phone. I think if it not oart of the A73, the phone has less value overall, but the A73 in my view doesn't provide a significant change over its predecessors ro warrant the upgrade. In my experience with the previous generation phones and even despite the upcoming 7th gen 1 chip. 2. A combined adapter cable for charging and listening to music or data transfer. The lack of a headphone jack is a serious dysfunctional handicap to the phones practical functionality. Wireless earbuds are painful to use. I prefer over ear headphones. On long trips I have had to charge my wireless headphones. Wireless connection drains battery for both phone and headphone. Wired connected headphones is still a practical and good experience at no extra energy cost. I miss that redundancy in real world use. The fact there is no adapter cable means I have no way to charge my phone and listen simultaneously, which is in my view a big oversight in design. 3. I want to see an option to turn off beautify mode in portraits. It has become too unnatural. I notice I increasingly don't like to share my pictures because they look too artificial. 4. I would like to see more features in camera pro mode, so that I can dial in presets for aperture, exposure, white balance and more. Even 7 years ago we could do this in midrange phones. Many algorhytms I Samsung phones still don't give good pictures. With slight tweaking I could get it better. 5. I would like to see an 8 mpix macro lens for better detail. I'm not sure if the 100 mpix xould do it as well. If ao that would be awesome and the macrolens redundant. 6. I would like to see a universal screw mount integrated to the polycarbonate back housing of the phone. This way we could add different external third party smartphone lenses for increased photo and film lensing options. I've noticed they can enhance the current smartphone lenses greatly. Want it or nor not the current multilens support a range of photo options, but in many cases I have used external lenses to add functionality to current midrange phones. The current external lens clipping are imprecise and jarring to use and align properly. 7. I would like to see a dedicated camera button. I've used them om competitor phones years ago. Every year I noticed I mssed a dedicated camera button. It's easy to quickly start up the phone, take quick shots and be able to do fast focus by half pressing the camera button. I find it more convenient than having to press a virtual button on the screen and fiddle with the volume or power button thats placed to far to the wrong side of the phone for me (should be on the lower right side or upper left side). 8. Better algorhytms for smoothness of images. I still find images of nature unnaturally grainy at higher zoom levels. Nokia had great algorhytms with their pureviw technology. A dash of that I think would go a long way to get a more natural looking image. Most images of nature look like paintings, which looks unnatural.I like the warm and vibrancy, but not the texture. Even with details a dash of "smoothness" can help, in my view. 9. Camera's central instead of in the corner. I'm tired of the wobble when it lays flat. As long as the camera is in the corner it needs an obligatory protective case to balance out the asymmetry. Wishes: that the A74 will have an extremely high ifixit score, to easily replace a broken screen or battery, despite the IP67 rating. Wish 2: at least 5 years of software, ONE UI and android upgrade support.

I upgraded from A6 PLUS to A73 and i don't see much difference..... A73 is totally not value for money....

Except for the metal frame and sd 7 gen 1, I don't think the other things going to change in A74, I mean we all know what samsung does 😅, And we should stop complaining about charger in samsung phones...Samsung is not going to give that to us, I have left the hope, and this trend set by apple will be followed by rest of the market very soon 🥲
