Yes you can connect it to your phone/ tablet via bluetooth. Basic fitness tracking details can be viewed on the watch itself but you can view more in-depth results on the Samsung's fitness app. Unfortunately you can't go throughout the day without a phone as this watch doesn't have it's own internet connection. You can't browse internet, can't accept calls and the custom reply messages are very limited. If you want a stand alone watch then you can purchase something like a galaxy watch 4 or 5 series(LTE variants)

I’ve seen reddit comments from people in the US who imported the Fit3 and they said it worked with their Samsung phones.

i think if you are wearing headphones, you can accept the call using your headphones itself after looking the name on the watch

It works with all Android phones. Only camera click works only with galaxy phone
