Looks like e2400 performs better due to the thermal throttling of the 8gen3

@@beardtm They are using 8gen3 on the ultra for every region, that will tell you how "good" the exynos is... No point speculating, samsung knows their cpu very well, they have been doing smartphones for a pretty long time.

The battery life of Exynos 2400 is very similar to SnapDragon Gen 2. The 'stressed' CPU performance is identical to the SnapDragon Gen 3, and the GPU performance is somewhere middle between Gen 2 and Gen 3.

bro are you good? the s23 ultra was the best phone of 2023. it also has the best chip in an android phone. it had snapdragon 8 gen 2 for Galaxy, which is a better version of the 8 gen 2

They figure that the market is not that big and the ordinary person on the street won't be well informed of the differences. It is also a pretty good way to push well informed plus model users to the more expensive ultra version.

I have had Galaxy Flip 3 with a Snapdragon. Nice phone but cameras and batteries was not sufficient due complex flip construction. And screensaver was ready for change after 2 years of careful use. Samsung change screensaver for free of charge but in my area of living exist only apple dedicated service shops... Therefore, in last 7 months my daily phone coming from google, Pixel 7a with Samsung hardware including chipset... But 7a is far better from my favorite phone from recent past, Galaxy S10e Exynos version. I sense Exynos type of lagging on Pixel 7a but 7a costs ca 400 dollars on the European market, almost half price off from cheapest Samsung S series phone who has many apps incorporated in software without genuine purpose.

Idiot. Exynos is clocked lower than SD gen 3 so it's actually giving better battery life according to initial reports.

Hey there! The S24 Ultra has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy globally. Only the S24 & S24+ have Exynos in some markets.

They don't use exynos in the USA or south Korea and other manufacturers use snapdragon in all their devices internationally. Saying price is a cheap excuse considering what they charge for their devices. Why should people pay a premium price for a inferior product because you live in a certain regions?

Nonsense. Its a forced way to keep Exynos alive. It has got nothing to do with price but with using in house chips. Although Samsung foundry has been extremely big investment for Samsung with low yeilds and almost 1 or 2 generations behind Qualcomm.

I can bet snapdragon gen 2 would be more efficient than Exynos at this time .

I instantly cancelled my idea to buy the S24 😅 I might go with S23 256 with SD 8 Gen 2
