My favorite S24 Ultra feature is its 4K video recording flexibility, seamlessly switching between lenses, including the selfie camera. The ability to pause the video and capture photos within the same clip is awesome. It's an amazing feature, making it easy to capture great moments!

My only issue with that is that the same feature of being able to capture photos while recording video is not possible if you have enabled HDR10+ recording. You also cannot enjoy the slow-motion long press in the gallery if the video is HDR10+ too. So I hope they enable that feature in the future, really. At the moment, it sucks for me. HDR10+ recording is great, and I don't want to bother turning it off just because Samsung thought that disabling such features is good or something? I would assume the phone could have done it anyway, but this has been an issue I noticed since I had the S23U, until the S24U now, really.

I agree with Xeetch. Very detailed and informative. You underscored what was already known. The iPhone has the best video quality, the Pixel is the best in still photos, and the Ultra ticks all the right buttons in all three areas.

It’s my first time watching your content, just subscribed. 👊 My favorite feature is the 1x - 3x - 5x optical zoom combo, as I use my phone to shoot client videos, so being able to switch between them during the shoot and still keep such a high quality of the footage will certainly be helpful.

I have seen other videos for comparison of camera between S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max and they usually point out what's better "for them" and they usually say iPhone. They didn't stop me from pre-ordering the S24 Ultra though, lmao. It comes with a Galaxy Watch6 too, so! But seeing this review, I could say that I made the right decision getting the S24 Ultra. Can't wait to have my hands on mine soon! Thanks for this video!

Honestly, as someone who mainly loves selfie video I’m glad the S24 Ultra was able to show improvements to its own this year. (And I was surprised at how well the selfie photography on the pixel was as well!) I’m also exited to see the circle to search feature in greater detail as that’s the S24 Ultra feature I’m most excited for. Great video as always!

One of my favourite features is the possibility to switch cameras on 4k60fps. But the one that makes me crazy is the call translator, that would be definitely useful for my work! Nice comparison, I expect more videos, and maybe win the S24 Ultra ;).

My favourite feature of the S24 Ultra has got to be the new 5x telephoto lens. The 10x optical lens os S23 ultrahas always been terrible in low light situations. It's a nice upgrade. Plus the portraits you can get.

My best take on this galaxy s24 ultra would be the A. I. features and the changeble lens while recording and the 5x telephoto lens were amazing, although i wish they retain the 10x telephoto also. And thank you for the deatiled camera comparison between these 3 flagship, i was waiting for this review since iphone 15 pro.

Fantastic comparison, great work and thanks for focusing on motion capture comparison, additional lower light conditions would be helpful here as Samsung has struggled with this for years. It appears they still have work to do there.

I have a couple favorite features of the s24, the new gorilla glass armor being one as it apparently is harder and more anti reflective making the screen brighter as it doesn't need to fight the extra reflections. I also liked the fact that samsung fixed their shutter lag problem and now is competitive with the 15pro max. I do find the ai features kind of gimmicky tho as i dont think anyone would actively use them except on some occasions. Other than that great video man and as always love you!

Awesome video Ben! Kodus to your efforts. For videos, iPhone is the winner but for still pictures, it is a tie between the s24U and Pixel 8Pro. The iPhone has that yellow warmer tone to its pictures and I don't like it. However, for me, you can never go wrong with any of the phones, they are excellent and superb. I guess the best part of the s24 is that, it still has the potential of having a better camera with updates.

Te equivocas!. Píxel gana fácilmente en fotografía al Samsung. Samsung tiene un HDR penoso, fotos con movimiento salen borrosas, zoom en interior baja mucho el nivel, colores saturados en exceso... Prueba un Píxel y me cuentas!. Saca las fotos mucho más rápido y eso en peques, mascotas y demás, es un plus extra!

Great review, Ben. I like the extra camera flexibility in video of the S24 Ultra. Being able to use 4K 60 and switch between cameras without having to stop recording, is handy. I live in the UK, so prefer to watch UK based tech reviewers. A South East London tech reviewer is not convinced about the change from 10x telephoto to 5x. A comparison between the S23 Ultra and S24 Ultra zoom from 3x, 10x, 30, 50x to 100x in all lighting conditions would be useful. I have see a few and notice the S24 Ultra AI working. Keep up the good work. 👍🏾

My favourite feature of the S24 Ultra has got to be the flat screen. As a long time fan of the Note series I've always been frustrated by the curved edges as it makes it difficult to write with the s pen at the edges of the screen.

👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿 Great work that was a proper full dive into the camera packages. The S24 Ultra and the iPhone are really in a league of their own when it comes to video performance, with the S24U now showing itself to be the best it's stability is top draw. Camera wise, as always, there are always optimisations to do on a new release. The iPhone is surprisingly inconsistent, and the Pixel is as always heavily overprocessed and looks on the cold side.

Excellent video. I really like how you created so many scenarios which not only showed the full capabilities of the camera systems, but also gave opportunity for each platform to shine in its own way. There isn't one perfect camera system, just as there isn't one OS that is better than the other. You need to choose the phone, operating system, and camera that is best for you.

Your camera tests are in-depth as usual. Was waiting on this to decide whether it will be worth it to finally switch from my s21 ultra. Love that we can now switch between all lenses in 4k60 and slow mo is looking awesome. Would definitely enjoy using it as a b roll camera at weddings and events!

Good to see that the Android phones have become so good in terms of Video and to a normal user any of these phones will be a great choice. Personally the Pixel 8 Pro looks amazing in terms of still photography and has improved a lot in videos. Samsung has the most versatility, however waiting for some updates to use the full potential of Samsung 😊

The AI features of the camera are strong. Removing objects is a great improvement for images posted on social media in a short time. Also, remastering is great! Battery life, near perfect screen.

The s24 ultra's AI feature where it can make notes out of a recording is really a smart feature for me. Can help me with online lectures where i could just join the lecture meeting and go about my other activities, come back and have lecture notes prepared for me to go through

Really love the instant slow motion feature after clicking on the video with Al generated frames. The Al features paired with its magnificent camera lens feels like a whole package. Editing minor inconveniences has become a lot more easier. I like camping, trekking(travelling in general) and cooking so would really like to shoot cinematic videos with it and also the star trail thing in some mountain with less light pollution(don't know techinal term for it).

This might be the best video of these phones out there. You nailed it all. few things I do is urn off scene optimizer and zoom in mic. I hate the zoom in mic. btw, the S24 Ultra will get better after an update or 2.

It's a seriously impressive camera on one of the best phones of 2024 so far. I'd have to say the best thing for me is how much the video's improved since last year's model and the AI features (slow mo thing etc) look genuinely decent.

Wow, another great comparison, I never watch any UKposts content this long the last one I watched was your last comparison so good job!! I'm currently having iPhone 15 pro max but I've decided to switch it to S24U and I believe there won't be so much difference since this is the first version of the new phone, a lot of updates are on the way to debug or fix some issues and I'll take that as a winner crown for S24U Thanks for your time and effort

FYI Samsung's AI is part on device, part cloud. They say the cloud AI is free for 2 years. Subscription after that. But no price given.

One of the best feature for me is AI in photo editor. I love Pixel 8 Pro photo editor, I am happy Samsung implement the same in S24 Ultra. Great for moving objects and small adjustments. Downgrade is that photo will never be original and we can change the reality.

Completely unbiased & totally helpful! 👊I really wish the Pixel would insert the front/rear camera video; for me, shooting video from the stage of the crowd while I'm singing, would be amazing and what I'll use most on the Ultra.

Favourite feature od S24 Ultra is flat screen - you are not forced to use expensive UV screen protectors anymore :)

The pixel still has fantastic processing. I liked the in-between with saturation the iPhone has not overly unlike the s24. Being a bit of a Samsung fan, I am not really thrilled with the photos coming out of the s24u. Over exposing, saturation and a bit too aggressive of sharpening. On the other hand this is pretty much how Samsung had always processed their photos. It's made to look really good on a phone or tablet screen. Night photos. The s24u had a lot of issues with light haze. The iPhone defiantly looked better for most of the night shots. Also noticed issues with light haze on both the s24u and pixel pro. The iPhone did a decent job.

Yeah underrated point you made about Samsung looking good while looking at the actual phone I feel the opposite with the pixel. My 8pro doesn't look great while looking on the phone

The pixel has improved a lot in the video department. I will say I notice a bit of jello effect from it compared to the others but the audio and picture quality is great.

bit too dark and warm sometimes, stabilization not as good and there's bit more noise and shivering, but hdr is doing better job and it's not that big of a gap. Iphone still reigns supreme in the video in terms of stabilization and overall video smoothness, but pictures, not so much

Video boost is an off phone feature that works in 30fps mode only. As stated, it takes time to process and I mean a good couple of days

My favourite feature is the new anti reflective glass on the screen, i seen in in person in a mall. With the bright lights from there it looked really good.
