Samsung is FINALLY improving their foldables. All because of the Chinese competitors no doubt. Thanks, Oneplus and Honor. Hope we get improvements to the cameras as well.

Seems like the poor sales of the Z Fold5 is finally getting to them. This is good and hopefully these reports end up being true. The competition has gotten tough. While the Z Fold still has the best software, the hardware needs to be improved.

Looks like Samsung is bringing the heat to the competition. If the Z Fold 6 is at least as good as the other foldables and probably better there's no reason to get a Chinese foldable or even the Pixel Fold.

Pretty pumped, I've loved my Fold4 and I've been holding back upgrading to the 5, since the 6 is on the way

Going from 20:9 on my 20 to 19.3:9 on my s23 ultra was a very noticeable improvement especially in videos with much smaller black bars. This is a great change

Guys the aspect ratio is everything. It can make the front screen actually ussable. It can still be technically 6.2 inches but if it's a difrent aspect ratio than it will completely change the feel. It will be less candy like.

I still don't understand WHY Samsung doesn't jump to the outer display similar to S24U. Other phone manufacturer have done it, and is the best, but they just don't want to please customers like me... It will be all down to the price. Yes, it seems that Samsung has finally decided to make the device an easy to spot evolution compared to its predecessor(s) but this handset price is just hefty. Taking into account some of its weak sides (e.g. still no built-in S-Pen, inner screen durability, inner/outer screen ration which is to me simply odd) paying nearly 2000 bucks for this device (which is really a top spec laptop range as far as its price is concerned) I would rather not go for it unless I had some money to burn. For a time being I'll stick to the Galaxy Ultra series...

I knew this would be thinner than Fold5 in the end unlike your previous video said thicker.

6.3 inch for the outer screen still relatively narrow , ration of 6.4-6.5 is perfect.

I have pretty bad Arthritis in my Hands & wrists, IT hurts to hold my Z Fold5s not only my hands but my SOUL😢 so any Improvement is AWESOME! 😮😅

Why can’t they just make the outer screen wider? Then the inner screen can be more rectangular and apps optimized for the Galaxy Tab can have similar optimizations on the Fold

Looks like the old one. They haven't been able to do anything big since the fold design first came out other than minor tweaks here and there. Maybe the first couple versions had issues that were fixed but now it's just incremental improvements. And these foldables still aren't all that mainstream, more of a niche market.

I have given up and order the s24 ultra. I love the form factor of the my pixel fold and i dont think the fold 6 will be enough of a change in design for me. Maybe it will be great but i dont think so at least not yet.

I'll believe it when I see it. We always thought "oh they are gonna make the outer screen wider" (the statements since the fold 2) yet they just always shortened aspect ratio meaning we got less usable screen. I doubt this news would make this any noticeably any wider. They still be far out to the form factors of the Chinese phones that have a better form factor. Samsung could copy them right now but samsung is the apple of the Android world, they'd milk us because they know we'd still buy their stuff regardless what they do. And I do hope, really hope I'm wrong. I've been waiting for the change since the z fold 2 and it's been many generations now.

I have S24U and a free gift realme c55 from my telco...the weight comparison from using or holding them together is crazy...im getting tired of using S24U for longer preiods...all flagships must find a way to reduce the device wiehgt asap

onleaks doesn't seem to be wrong on paper. 6.3inches isn't much different than 6.2inches. The biggest difference is in the aspect ratio.

Honestly, the phone does not feel that heavy.

If the screen isn't gonna have a near conventional front screen, it's not really doing it for me... Maybe unless they somehow give us an S pen inside the phone

Looks like the cover screen is still long and doesnt look like a regular phone. Camera remains a major downside. A very minor upgrade over Zfold5.

I got a fold 3 at launch and its still my phone. The battery has aged very poorly and the center screen has a line down the middle but seeing as i want to keep a Samsung fold i dont see a reason to upgrade. Samsung has barely done anything to the fold series in the last 3 years.

I just wanted a bigger screen, don't really care bout other bells and whistles.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro looks potentially to be the foldable King of 2024 and I say that as a Samsung fan. Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is coming too.

Now Samsung is entering its 6th generation and they still can't keep up with devices like the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. Very disappointing!
