I think we all love Sans. I personally love the added expression on Frisk's face. It makes them feel more human, and I feel sad that this shows the Genocide path in the end. I would have loved to see a Pacifist animation here...

I love that, story-wise, the video is repeatable and coherent. When Frisk dies at the end, they reset; thus at the beginning, Sans says "alright, here we go again..."

Shows the disparate between Papyrus and Sans. Papyrus really believes in himself and wants to achieve his goals. Sans has completely lost hope and the only thing stopping him from murdering you is a promise done for the only other person he truly cares about.

@@ThatOneMonkeKidWhoAnimatesABit it's a really cool phycological trick if your interested in it. In the old one, Sans was looking to the side, almost as if talking to someone else. It's not as personal because it's not about you. In this version he is looking directly at you. Just you and him at a table in the dark. If you understand what has happened up to this point, if you have done a genocide run, and you know what him sitting next to the door means to him and the story it makes it even more personal. Especially since Sans is one of the characters aware of resets and deaths. He isn't talking to Frisk or your character. He's talking to YOU and the decisions YOU have made up to this point. It makes you have to think about your actions or past actions in the game. It's him threatening you to not kill anyone ever.

Sure, there is charm in how the original looks, but seeing it in this style really gives it the justice it deserves! The animation in this has to be one of my favorites ever by Coda. You can really see his progression in his animations over the years and I just love how well-done his models have become. 2:38 This was my favorite section of the animation because it used both the new 3D and pixel sprites like from the game and because of how well it captured the original scene, it's like the only time in the pacifist route where Sans' eyes go dark and him leaning in as he delivered his line was an amazing way to drill in how serious he was there. ALSO-- 0:31 , WHY IS PAPYRUS CALLING THE HUMAN IN THE SOUP STORE!!!!!!!

The slooooow slide into a vacant stare at 4:08 just absolutely sealed the deal on that joke! I'm also super impressed by that little quirk of Sans' smile at the end. It made it just the slightest bit wider and thus more sinister. Really loving the attention to detail here!

Is it just me or does the animation style remind me of that Garfield show? Especially sans. The way he walks almost reminds of of how Garfield himself did not to forget most of the time sans is so over serious in most depictions its hard to take him seriously but here he was mostly comical so that when he was serious it felt that much more chilling

This is just evidence that we NEED an Undertale TV show/movie. This is so smoothly animated, and has the quality of a good Pixar film. It doesn’t even have to be official, but still. I've spent a while saying that 3d undertale animations aren’t that good and 2d is where this fandom shines… but OH MAN You guys knocked this one out of the park! The animation is so professional and fits To The Bone so well. The models are incredible as well and look very faithful. This is one of my favorite undertale fan songs, and this remaster reminds me the fandom is still alive. (Geez, 1 million already and it’s only been out 5 days….) Major applause to you!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The deepened voice voice of Sans at 4:28 is so good. In the game, you don't hear his voice at all when his eyes go black. Here, you can hear his voice while his eyes are corrupted with his *voice* also being distorted. It's such a good detail, because in the game, it doesn't feel like you are talking to Sans when he does this expression. Truly why you should always be afraid when Sans gets down to business.

I love how sans is portrayed here. In most scenes his smile is great and because he’s a funny man, but in the scenes where he’s alone, it’s a much more sinister smirk. Also him saying ‘here we go again’ is such a cool nod to his awareness, I didn’t realise until I just watched it again
