HI Guys!
Chris Here...short mid week video. I go into the Sierra Nevada wilderness and make some Sasquatch sounds in a remote area while hiking. I try some tree knocks as well as whoops and howls! To see who is home in the forest. Good hike and fun experience! I also discover some weird large tree breaks in a set of Aspen trees!
Keep Hiking!

I was always a non believer untill a couple of years ago and had an experience myself, he came very close to my camp and caught a glimpse of it. I am no longer a non believer. I decided to leave him a gift the second night at camp, in the morning it was gone, and the snow showed tracks, just because you make the sounds they don't always answer back. But I sure believe now. Have a great Thanksgiving and be safe on your travels you are special

@@basecampchris I am from penna. I was up in the cooks forest state park camping I have a regular campsite and wanted to just relax and enjoy some time by myself before the holidays hit, and I went and set up camp and settled in it was Halloween, so when I saw my visitor I decided to give him a Halloween treat of fresh fruit and I gave him some peanut butter balls I make from scratch and I gave him that too he didn't show aggressive behavior he was curious, I hope I see him again when I go back to camp. I camp all year and I got a real nice hot tent for my birthday and a new camp stove to use to heat my tent so I went from laughing at people because I thought it was funny, to a full blown believer and I took photos of the tracks to show the park rangers just in case they thought I was nuts. I did not feel threatened and I don't think he did either, I chose my course of treatment which did not include screaming and yelling I showed him respect him and would never try and harm him, he kept his distance but I knew he was near me all night

I've had several weird things happen up here in Nova Scotia. and last Saturday I met a man and wife who are having wood knocks on their property near Bear River, Nova Scotia. The man who moved from B.C. recently has had two sightings. I am looking forward to seeing him again as he has a lot of stories.

Chris you're braver then me, I went up a jeep trail in American fork canyon, Utah on a Sunday with friends. I lost my phone and thought I could've lost it in only a few places. So I went up Monday early morning and decided to walk up this 4x4 trail (forest lake trail) I arrived at the first place we stopped in our jeeps, no phone. I kept walking silently through the trail with thick pines about 7am. Then I heard a loud tree knock! I stopped and listened to something moving above 100 feet above me. My brain searched for answers of what it could be. I decided to slowly try to sneek back down the jeep trail. I could hear something staying above me at the same pace. I kept telling myself it was a bear and tried to stay calm. Where the trail turns down to the north into a big opening that they call the rock garden, I walked backwards from the sound of whatever it was staying with me. I never saw anything. I've driven up this trail again, but I will never get out of my jeep in this area. I Google about this area and others had reported bigfoot foot in the area. I never did see anything, but I've hunted my whole life and never heard a tree knock until then.

Hey Chris have a great Thanksgiving! That's some very authentic sounding howls and tree knocks! But what will you do if ever a Sasquatch responds - or, worse, suddenly stands in front of you? I always thought the tree knocks were Squatches telling each other about humans being around. You know - "dinner is served"! The broken tree branches sure look like that was done by a Squatch. No beaver goes that high up... Wow, look at all that snow! That's amazing! Stay safe and warm, Chris, don't let the Sasquatches get to you!

Hi Chris, Interested Aussie here. Love your storytelling! Have one of my own, which you may find somewhat different. Back in 1994 I was showing a female German backpacker around my home state of Victoria. On one trip we hit the Great Otway National Park. The park is 1,033 square kilometres (398 sq miles), and covers basically rainforest, eucalypt and redwood trees, with rugged hinterland through to a windswept coastline. Preparing to head home around 8pm when a 'pea soup' fog descended upon the area. We sat out a couple of hours to see if it would lift, but it wanted to test us. So at 10pm we made our way slowly out of the forest via an old gravel road. We had 15 to 20 feet of questionable visibility ahead. So it was slow going. In the middle of nowhere, my lights suddenly lit up a silhouette making its way through the fog, out of the forest and crossing the road in front of us, returning to forest on the other side. I pulled up with this huge form turning to face us at 3 to 4 feet distance. My German friend beat me to the whispering "WTF!" moment, yet neither of us felt threatened. In fact, we spoke at length later, of the great sense of calm and peace which overcame us at that moment. Our friend in the fog paused and turned to check us out for a moment before disappearing back into the forest. My 4x4 was 6 feet in height. Our friend in the fog would have stood a good 2+1/2 feet taller. It had no detail up close... just a shadow. We drove on about a mile, then l jumped out of the 4x4 to check out the lighting and bullbar, searching for clues... hoping l had been somehow pranked. But the more we thought about it, there was simply no earthly explanation for what we witnessed that night. In the middle of nowhere with no campers or other vehicles, who would take the opportunity to project an elaborate hoax into the fog! This shadow had the form of an ape-like creature, with long arms, yet it walked upright like a man. The 'no physical detail' part l have always wondered about, seeing as it stood so close to us. No eyes in the headlights, no hair... It was very much a dark ghost 😳 Strangely, that same area is infamous for panther sightings and UFO's. More recently l took an Argentine visitor to a different part of the same forest. Early afternoon l had a tree branch lodge under the car. Jumped out to free it... when suddenly the forest went eerily quiet. The Argie is very attuned to all things spiritual. She called for me to get back in the car as she felt very uneasy about being there. I needed to 'water the horse' before heading off... but cut that short as l had the strong sensation we were not alone. Anyhow, perhaps the best answer to these two stories would be to only go driving in that region with locals. Have you or any other readers ever experienced or heard of a similar fog story?

Damn yt algorithm made me remember a time I was out on my boat. Anyway, myself and two friends were boating around on lac simard and decided to go up Ottawa river a bit *looking for ducks* lost track of time and it started to get late - decided to find an open camp, make a fire and sleep there for the night. And sometime through the night we had a bang on the wall - grabbed the 12ga and started to load up, turned on our phone flash lights, peaked out the windows. Nothing. Opened the door, started to look around the camp and there was nothing, no tracks, no rocks, no sticks/branches. So we thought a bat or something probably flew into the side. By this time it was already 4:30am and the sun would be up soon, so we got in the boat and started to let the current take us out. About 10 minutes down the ride, we heard a call just like that to the north of us. Then another just south of us but the stick or whatever sounded much bigger than that stick in the vid. Soon after that, the frogs stopped chirping and the loons are no longer calling around. Now we can hear the leave’s rustling around and it’s not the wind. Then we heard the calls and tree smacking again, much closer this time. This time, there was another sound, a low growls and it seemed to get more and more infuriated by something. Then it sounded like it was fighting something but there were no other growls, howls or anything. Soon the bear sounded injured and tried running away but it didn’t get far. Once the bear stopped making noises, the loons and frogs started to get really loud. By this time, the sun was starting to come out and we can sorta see the tree tops and with the river so calm, we could sort of see the stars reflection with the path to go - straight - My friends looked at me and just said GO! And without hesitation, started the motor and headed on out of there. We got to somewhere in the middle of open waters and I stopped the boat to light a cigarette. We all did not say a word until everyone was done their smoke. Friend 1 broke the silence by saying “eh?” And then we all started the laughing and started to talk about it😂😂😅

I found this video because I'm a city person but I went camping a week and a half ago. At about 4 am I was up having a fire solo on the campgrounds. (Yea I'm a night owl....) I was three campsites away from the end of the campgrounds which borders the Pennsylvania State Forest which is open land. Pitch black, no fence. Everyone was asleep but what I heard was so much farther than the campgrounds - into the state forest - I heard a click sound - just a single click. I can re-create it by clicking my tongue, but it had much more of an echo since it sounded like it came from far away and more high up. I instantly jumped up and went into my tent because I got scared. I feel like I didn't know what could have made that clear crisp click sound. I heard the same sound once more, about 10-15 minutes later. I was telling someone on the camp ground about the sound and they mentioned wood knocks of Sasquatch. I don't know the reason it made just singular "knocks"

Someone’s down in those woods thinking to themselves “oh my gosh I hear him! I hear Sasquatch! 😉.... On a serious note I’ve never been a believer but I find your channel very intriguing. Your a great storyteller as well. I live in the country, Pennsylvania, not to far from Cooks forest actually. I just read that persons comment about feeding him treats lol... . All of this has me starting to really question this stuff. I believe anything is possible and for as deep as some of these woods are who knows what’s lurking in them.

Funny how when you hear someone do a tree knock on here it just sounds familiar like something you’ve heard all your life
